Re: Tse Gaiyan meeting 1221

Saturdays have always been better days for everyone, all together. A lot of people have to get up early Monday mornings for work. Not many people can or will stay up to 10 or 12 pm EST who live in that time zone.

Re: Wyrvardn Abilities

People frequently talk about the 'lore' of the game, but frankly, there is minimal lore in the game at all. There are no libraries describing battles of ancient times, no descriptors of the settings. There's basically no support for RP in game at all, and directing people to a wiki that is supposed...

Re: ESP Q&A

ESP is an acronym, which is why calling the ESP network or a pendant an "esper" (not capitalized, not an acronym) doesn't make a lot of sense. It's also not a verb, which I think is how people are treating it when they use it as "esper"? I've never been quite sure. Might just be...

Re: Words Breaking Words

Like every guild, one aspect isn't concrete to how things are, or how people demand how certain guilds are or should be played, except Templar and Monks, where they have a very rigid RP base. Mummers have a vast spectrum of what their RP can be. Some do play according to the Storyteller trope; other...

Re: Suggestion: Artisan Import Shop

The hoarding limitations had been addressed already by changing the vault system in my opinion. Gone were the days when you have 1000000 items stored in the bank, except when you're in mistral. This is true if you don't have a player home. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have one could pote...

For those who know Vlora ... here is a little nugget. Vlora begins playing a marching tune on her roughly sewn skin bagpipe with decent style and solid technique. (Vlora pants.) Vlora says, "Wow, blowing that many pipes is exhausting." Vlora grins. Vlora sits down on some benches. Vlora be...

Re: Necks are too tough

I've been in several accidents IRL, and there are times I - should have - broke my neck. I didn't. Necks are very resilient. Very strong, and can take a significant amount of abuse. By all rights, Kent, I should be dead right now with the number of neck Injuries I've sustained or worse. Is it fittin...

Re: Everburning braziers

1) Thank you for this. 2) Would it be possible that as an alternative to ever-burning braziers, that braziers be available that can be re-filled similar to the sconces? A moveable heat source does have a good bit of utility for groups in certain areas. Either way, thank you kindly for this update. ...

Also feel like a penalty atop waiting would just discourage exploration and risk taking. This might especially come up during events or RP situation, people probably wanting to avoid conflict to avoid skill learning penalties if one might die more than once. Re: The Dangers of Dying

Death has serious consequences already if you choose the other options other than player retrieval. Even a player retrieval is a disruption to a person's ability to play for sometimes close to 15 or to a half an hour. This is a game. Do you want to have the burden of forcing players, who may not wan...

Re: Knights of the Wyrvardn

This is a pretty interesting discussion. Too bad we can't be known as knights, though. I liked the classification pretty well. But it makes sense, we'd just be the cheap Templar without the magic if we were to refer to the Wyrvardn as knights. Yeah, which they're not "cheap Templar".

Re: Knights of the Wyrvardn

Why do they need another name? Wyrvardn is a title in itself. Saying Guardian Wyrvardn would be a little redundant. I guess I see it as one of those foreign language words that through common usage makes it into another language's normal vernacular. So Wyrvardn should be understood by those who spe...

Yay Wyrvardn meeting! Honest question - why do people keep calling them knights? The title is in the name. Guardians of the people! I'm pretty sure they're not actually knighted in any technical sense. This. If anything, given Morcant's history with the Knights Templar, he probably wouldn't want to...

I've noted that the only way to gain recognition points or guild points is to do tasks, solely.
