minecart rental suggestion

It is great that people can borrow minecarts for free in Shadgard, but what about those that want to get a minecart to the iron mine. If the mining company rented minecarts for long distance mining then if someone doesn't bring it back they get charged a large fee per hour(even when logged out ...

Re: Locksmithing Training

I think the learnable skill will have to be put back in first. It's a bit frustrating now for new players because they rely on old characters to be around to even unlock boxes.

Re: Rumors of a Mighty Winter

While in theory this sounds great. I'm worried this will encourage more to log.... and only my monk seems to go stump pulling. (good thing my monk donated so much wood people just left to give the town a jump start) I know some of us have rope, but make it more available soon please so people can ...

I think that is where the suggestion of three times a week comes in, but if not offline. Could these be cool task/job ideas to further enhance roleplay?

I do really like this idea.
There could also be certain jobs helping the town more, like repairing items around town etc.

Re: Winter Solstice Gift Giving Shenanigans

I imagine on the solstice gathering it will be nuts as people try to get their gifts and not what they gave to others. What if everyone's gifts were moved into one bag or something like the day of or something, so it is easier? Maybe I'm missing an easier command to just get gifts addressed to you ...

Re: Monks under review

As the most active monk right now and one who quit Clok years ago.
I don't think it's about the guidelines. I think it is about what does a monk do when everyone else is out grinding and there is no roleplay to be found. It is so discouraging to try for hours to find roleplay, and eventually you get ...

roleplay roles/jobs

Through roleplay today I thought of how we should have roleplay roles/jobs that people could roleplay their way into (especially for noncombat characters) These jobs/roles don't all have to be paid, some could be volunteer. Ideas that come to mind.

Re: GMs want to get in on the player character experience

I'm okay with GMs playing their own game. However, there is already a company that sounds sort of like what Tandor tried to start in game. I have a document in my portfolio about it. I don't see Ydia joining any company until she sees how they go, but it will be interesting to see what happens ...

Re: On the horizon: Ability Trees, Class Specializations, and Guilds

I am curious where herbalism will fall. Physickers will definitely get the best of creating healing items and such. Monks will get some options there as well, as at least flavor-wise it's always been implied that they gather healing herbs for this purpose (you may recall the tasks they had to ...

Re: On the horizon: Ability Trees, Class Specializations, and Guilds

I am curious where herbalism will fall. A huge part of Ydia's background and story revolves around that. She used to make tons of poultices back in the day before she became a monk, and after. She would make sure people had them as they headed out to battles etc. Will this still be possible to some ...

mailing items

I can't be the only one out there who epically mails random stuff to people because I forget there is something else in her right hand.
My suggestion is if you have to mail items they have to be in a package rather than just being able to send items by theirselves.
I know the confirmation prompt is ...

Re: charms everywhere

It'd be neat if they could be used as currency at a special merchant at the fairgrounds, in which you could turn x-amount of them in for a random piece of treasure from the generic Loot Tables, or from a special Cloktum-themed Loot Table. Or the merchant uses the BARTER system (which I have no ...

charms everywhere

So it would be neat if there was a way to use the charms after the festival, either a shop that buys them, or being able to attach them to bracelets etc. We can't sell them to the market, and I don't want to see a crate full of charms like usually happens. Maybe the special ones can be bought by ...

Thanks for clarifying. Is this lore of these cases documented somewhere? I feel that would be a huge help with roleplay.
