High risk leather: Distinct features
So, it's possible to get leather from basilisks, for example. But they just turn into regular leather. Even if it just gave it a darker hue or something, or maybe a mottled tone or a craggy texture, something that differentiates higher-risk animal pelts/skins from lower risk ones (giving them distin...

Re: Making arrowheads out of softer metals
Yes, for aethetics and variety. You make an argument based on the softness of those metals as it relates to real life, but to follow through with that argument, we should remove larger softer metal hilts and definitely all hafts (a silver or gold flail haft would be bent in no time and more useless...

Re: Poll: Ability Point Cap
Would I like more? Definitely so.
Am I content with 20? Mostly. Why? Because it makes you cut down to what your character really is, and wants to be.
I think one or two more would be nice. But no more than that.

Re: So long and thanks for all the fish
I didn't always roleplay directly with you, but your character had a big impact on mine. I'm also glad to consider you a friend.
Take care, thanks for all the times.

Shadgard blacksmith pricing tweak
So, I've noticed this before but never brought it up.
Shadgard: an average steel axe: 796 riln
Haiban: Same axe: 196 riln
Suggestion 1: Have the Shadgard blacksmith add "I don't like your face" every time you order.
Suggestion 2: Tweak the gap slightly.

No, you can't. I tested it. It will not target secondary mobs with the same name. I tested it very thoroughly with Alila present.

Re: Telepathy and you (Feature Request)
I agree that having it only access the gray channel makes it a bit useless, but I've treated it more as a skill that perhaps influences the other skills you learn? Mummers are pretty powerful to begin with. My main issue is that we can't target secondary mobs with words. so if there's two laborers, ...

Hair is a cultural thing. Even having bobby pins for under helmets would make Chione so so happy.

A Grand Feast!
Tentatively scheduled on the 17th of August at 6pm EST, there will be a feast (possibly held at Hakkon's home).
It will be advertised IC. Hoping it will be a reasonable time for most people, and we hope to see you there!

Re: Some much needed Commendations
I wanted to reply to Zeldryn and also add my own feelings too. (This is Chione for those who don't know!) I really love the roleplay here. To me, this is a living, breathing community, filled with complex characters and interactions. It's helped me recognize and deal with some of my own problems and...

cues for non-ansi users
So, this likely affects just me- but since I don't use color, it's actually very hard for me to keep track of energy levels in fast-paced combat, and I have no idea how I'd code it into tintin to watch for me when I have the colors set to off (or if it'd even be possible). I do my best to follow thi...

There's jumping over a broom for when slaves are not allowed to get married (I think). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_broom That could be something that could be done in cultures with slavery (such as the Nuum) - Or perhaps something similar, such as a ritualized dance representing the ch...

Funerial rites for Aurelia
On Friday the 28th of December at 6pm EST (4 bells post-Zenith Artisday) we are going to have a small funeral for Aurelia at Burgundy House, north of Shadgard. There will be postings in game to let people know of it. (This is for her character, not the player herself).

Dirty Trick: Weapon Kick
So, as an ability, this seems like something someone sneaky might do. So, the enemy's been disarmed, and the weapon clatters to the floor. But the enemy goes to pick it up once more! The person in question instead kicks the weapon in a direction, and if successful, knocks it out of the room and into...

Market Reports- Geared towards Artisans, farmers, etc.
Hello,- Gee, it's been a while since I've posted. Okay, so my idea was- Market reports in the Cities. Generally the idea is it will say what the cities are abundant in, Need more of, etc. So that Farmers will know this month that there's a wheat shortage, or that they have so much barley they're usi...

I believe I sent a log, Rias! Should be called "Mistral Lake- the Theatrical production" in your email. Doesn't specify there's a file attached.. but there is.
However, I'm sure Vaylon's would work too :)
