Re: Headbutt passive proc

No. It's not just you. I think the way headbutt procs needs to be looked at. It's really the only advantage of getting this skill. Maybe if it was changed to passively proc following any number of hits in a combo?

Re: What would you like to see?

An event that ends in the destruction of every area except Shadgard, Corvus, and maybe Mistral... and then rolls us back, mechanics wise, to the good old days before everything got nerfed to the point of frustration. Or maybe a time travel event to roll the game back to a couple years ago?!? I say t...

Re: Open Discussion - Improving the Clok Experience

I came back on after about a year the other day and seriously thought the game was dead... nice to visit but since there doesn't seem to be much activity, GM or player, I'm not very motivated to keep logging back in. Just my take here...

Re: Wyrvardn Abilities

This brings up another more global issue, actually. For any type of attack, there should be a countermeasure one can employee (whether it is available to a particular guild or not). These are usually in the form of skill checks (with a defensive skill that can be trained): Melee vs. Dodge/Block/Parr...

I personally enjoy a little bit of delay. Whenever I use the assassinate command, that second before I see someone drop is pretty exciting.

Re: Discussion on how we do what we do.

I like guild tasks, because they give guild members the feeling that they can actually do something specifically for their guild, and it helps give them a feel for what kind of thing guild members are expected to do. Coding tasks can be a real pain in the backside, though. I suppose that makes sens...

Re: Discussion on how we do what we do.

After writing all that, I was thinking of asking if it would be possible to incorporate tasks that lend aid to people. Small hamlets, cities and such. Based upon our skill capabilities. Or would that be more along the lines for other things, such as personal RP IG and what avenues can be opened up ...

Re: Guild Store

Just bumping this again as a reminder about guild store items. I know the GM staff is still really busy, but would love to see this filled out a little more, especially considering that we have some newer players in the guild now. If you need some help with design/descriptions on any of the items yo...

Re: Cache of questions

Not all of these can be answered publicly or OOC, but I'm curious about them and it would be great to see some of these things come up in events. guild or otherwise: 1) What are Shar's actual objectives? They seem to have changed from how they were initially presented to me and we lack a clear focus...

Re: Cache of questions

okay, put your hands down- no, you cannot intentionally bury yourself (or your enemies (or your loved ones)) in the Shadgard Graveyard in order to become an unholy mockery of life. You people are horrible. So then... <right hand up> what is the preferred method for turning one's loved ones into unh...

Re: On Departing

Due to the inherently OOC nature of departing, and the fact that it is still presumed that some entity saved you from death in some form or another, it no longer possible to instantly depart when you die. There is now a five minute window from the time of death where you will be unable to depart. I...

Re: Dodge Gains

If you're in tactic offense, you will no longer get dodge gains. I believe that happened while you were out. It's possible that you're still getting very minor gains from tumble as I think that it still works in tactics offense (but seems to be off the normal challenge roll). I haven't noticed this ...

Re: ability idea pc monks in Infirmary

So what you're asking for is an unlimited source of skill gain?

EDIT: I say this because it was originally this way back when I was a monk and the skill gain was insane. Because of this, it was limited pretty quickly.

Re: Rasui's Cryosorcerous Disc Bug ID: 12515

Is the left hand what is always directing the shield? I see this as more quickly mobilizing the shield at whatever the point of impact is. Perhaps the location that takes damage would be more random depending on where the shield is materialized?

Re: Missing VS Dodging

What I've always found odd is marksmanship skill adding to your projectile dodge roll. Since marksmanship is basically learning how to hold really still and be steady, it doesn't seem like it equates to getting out of the way. As you've implied, a knowledge of projectiles and the way they move would...

Re: Missing VS Dodging

Dodging projectiles isn't too difficult, especially if you can anticipate when the trigger will be pulled or the arrow released. Seriously, try firing at a moving target. It's not that easy to hit at range. Besides, no one stands still in combat (hopefully).

Making spear head required only moments and no metal to start... however the training time and resources that went into his character development were far more extensive. Makkah, care to comment?

Re: Tumbling while severely wounded

Can tumble be disabled with severe wounds to the chest, abdomen, back, arms, or legs? I feel like all of these would be necessary for any tumbling. I'm against nerfing tumble any further as it's certainly not what it used to be... and if I understand it correctly, the proc rate should already decre...

the mercs could use a trick or 2 sense most of there abilities are either gone or generalized there is nothing making them mercs you could easily be guildless and it wouldnt matter. who noes, that might be the point My point is that this is not giving them anything unique. It is consolidating exist...
