If it is for 'open combat' why do the Shar have it and not the Utasa?
Well, it's a nether technique and we have abilities for open brawling as well (bloodlust, blade slap, nether hands, choke). I honestly think it doesn't entirely fit in with Utasa, but I'd have no problem with...
I think Shadow Step would be in theme for the Utasa, it would just need to be reworked to be based around Wavebending. The ability allows the Claw of Shar to use illusions to make it easier to change positions in combat from avoid to engaged and vice versa. I believe when you us...
By the way, if you want to break combat and hide again for another stealth attack, use flashbang (raw wavebending cast), which will mesmerize the target and break combat engagement with them, as well as prevent them from acting until they're shaken out of the stupor or it wears off. It's...
Where is it said they are built for open fighting? They do not have abilities that the thieves nor the Shar have to focus on staying in visible combat. In fact, using flash bang makes it easier to regain stealth status once again. Again you said it was stated but, no link to where it w...

I think one of the GMs already addressed this a while ago but I can't find it. If anyone else remembers please post? The idea was, if I'm remember correctly, that thieves and Shar are intended to remain in the shadows while Utasa ambush then fight from the open with their bending techniques after th...
What we are debating are facts, the thing is.. Wikipedia facts on what a ray of anti-heat is, might not be the facts of Clok's. In Clok, cryomancy pushes heat away from itself, rather than not enough heat being in the area. If you want a different idea of it, think of a tank of water. ...
Pyromancy does not create heat to damage a target, it creates a flame to burn a target.
Cryomancy's utility, as i quotes, is that it has a lower chance to wake a sleeping target, it lowers body temperature per attack(which will put a target to sleep), the Rooks have the ability to use it as a shield, they also have the ability to out right put a target to sleep. Pyromancy...
Pyromancy has higher damage spans than cryomancy does.
I think pyromancy damage should be decreased because it would technically only be as damaging as cryomancy (should be same net damage) since they're not really all that different in the type of damage they do. Also, what in...

Freezing organic material (in particular lipids and proteins) causes considerable damage. You can induce conformational changes inactivating proteins (just like with heat) and cold interferes with the fluidity of cellular membranes and can result in cellular rupture. In fact, freeze/thaw cycles are ...

Alright, but what are the cutoffs? is it 50% of my highest skill on the low end and 200% on the highend? Since it seems to be based on skill ranks and not endroll, this could be misleading since you can't make a direct comparison to enemy ranks.
