Re: Nether taint ideas
Thanks Kiyaani. While you don't think I want to compromise, I suggested a few of these when the system came in and they were turned down directly. The system in question is beneficial to you (for one character) and impacts none of your other characters, so I know you feel that it's fair/reasonable o...

Re: Nether taint ideas
Nethrim/Nether-tainted individuals seem to like to consume blood. I would think they'd be able to smell/sense their food source and the life force emanating from living creatures just as certain holy people can now sense the tainted/nethrim. How about a ridiculously high chance for tainted individua...

Re: A note on anti-idle scripts
I don't understand how doing this can be considered disruptive. Your character isn't interacting. What exactly is wrong with it? Just because you're a name on the who list? I've never gotten my anti-idle scripts to work and this doesn't really impact me... but this still comes across as a little odd...

Wasn't referring to self-sufficiency. Just mechanics. I'll submit my complaints (and requested fixes) to Alexander though, if you'd like.Rias wrote:@Acarin: I want people depending on their fellow player characters, not me.

Assassin's Mark bourbon
Light and sweet flavor with a hint of oak graces your palate as you take a sip, leaving an intense burning sensation behind as it slides down your esophagus.

Yes, make horses run away! Also, I always thought it to be a little odd that someone who has just been thrown off a horse can immediately mount again while still engaged. Haven't checked this in a while so could be wrong...

EDIT: Alternatively, I would accept "Meet your Maker" Mark brand bourbon.

I believe your compensation for higher skill levels with crafting comes in the form of reduced energy costs instead (so you can do it longer). I would be difficult to balance crafting if rt reductions were significant...

Re: Affliction threads
Lun, I know of at least 8: 2 canims (only 1 active), 4-6 major taints, and one (possibly more?) of each of two others. There seem to be as many major taints as active Shar or guild of thieves members, individually. I don't think it would be unreasonable. Maybe for the other afflictions these would g...

Re: Affliction threads
I just thought that all the details of game afflictions weren't supposed to be known publicly even in the OOC sense. I have no issue discussing them publicly as I only have one character and everyone knows his affliction so I really wouldn't be giving anything away, personally. It's just nice to hav...

I don't know if I should ask this but, are PCs susceptible to this spell under the obvious conditions?

Affliction threads
Any chance we could have threads for afflictions with access to each for only people with that affliction (like is currently done for sneaky guilds). I know currently that only one would be used by more than 1 or 2 people, but it would be nice to have a forum to be able to discuss them without givin...

I noticed that naturally tanned skins cannot be made into drinkholders as soft leather can. Any chance this could be added?

Charge RT
(Changing combat position to Engage) A lithe black-armored patrolman lowers his shoulder and charges at you! (Off:2350 vs Def:1261) 14 crush damage to the back! (energy -14) A lithe black-armored patrolman knocks you flat! Roundtime: 15 seconds. I assume this is the same rt for the mercenary ability...

Re: Burning away nether?
I would agree with you in some respects. Heat speeds along reaction by exciting particles (giving more kinetic energy to atoms), however it is CONSUMED in the process (The heat is transferred to some/all reagents to overcome energy barriers). It cannot therefore be defined as a catalyst in these rea...
