Re: Aeromancy

I don't really understand how manipulating wind currents would speed one up in combat. If anything, I think it would be a distraction to an aeromancer. The precise level of control that would be needed at each moment to conjure correct trajectories and change it at appropriate moments would decrease...

Re: Suggestion to Expand Tanning options

buckskin and doeskin would only apply to deer/stag pelts so I'm not sure why these would be general options...

Also, I'm not sure how one would make felt out of hides...

Thanks Rithiel. I'll look into this again tomorrow/today and let you know if I find any animals that are still buggy.

Re: Animal updates

Can you check these again when you have the chance? Fox pelts tan to wolf fur now... I think some of the ones that were working before are now broken although I don't have other examples.

Re: Wanted Posters

One of the issues I had with the Landion-era disruptions is that it didn't have a clear goal for the Outpost, in short what there was to gain form the terrible losses. It was nice with the Pre-Outpost disruption as they had a real reasoning and purposes. Any ways, wasn't the last disruption Nether ...

Re: Wanted Posters

The problem is that people are going to get mixed messages from the "kill order" ("I can just kill this person whenever for no reason other than they're on this board? SWEET!") and that there's no way for people to get removed from them. I could just as easily justify killing so...

Re: Wanted Posters

And after thinking about this all, I've removed the kill orders completely until I can come up with a better solution, with some kind of justice system equivalent in place. You can trust that offenders won't last long in Corvus anyway - there are a lot more deadly NPCs wandering around Corvus than ...

Re: Wanted Posters

If I'm in your town and on your town kill list, kill me. If you see me in the wilderness kill me. I don't think your town's kill list is a global KOS list though, especially because there's no way to get off that list since there's no justice system there. You shouldn't be able to kill someone in o...

Re: Wanted Posters

Did I ever say I wanted to kill Faylen based on outpost kill orders? I'm well aware who is on the list and there's no need for you to post them for curious onlookers. To address your other comment, I kill Faylen because she identified me by name and screamed for guards for help over esp, just as you...

Re: CLOK Mudlet plugins

I'd like to see a window for skills category favorites so that these can be tracked. This would allow a list of whatever skills we wanted to continually view the progress of to be displayed (I think it would be very useful when training). With the current setup you can already track three skills, i...

Re: Wanted Posters

Your thoughts on my character are not needed, Faylen, just as I have not stated my thoughts regarding yours. I already restrain Acarin considerably for the character I want him to be in order to comply in entirety with the continually more strict CvC policies. I would recommend running instead of ro...

Re: Wanted Posters

I'm aware that IC actions have consequences Nootau, but a kill order with a sketch seems to me to be IC license to kill any name on the list without any additional RP justification. If I am mistaken about this, I expect one of the GMs will let me know soon. The outpost has a KILL LIST. Again, it's a...

Re: Wanted Posters

Just to be more clear, does this mean that I can kill anyone on sight whose name appears on a wanted poster/kill order in the outpost (and possibly mistral) without confirming their identity through further rp? If so, I'm going to start dishing out justice.

Re: Wanted Posters

To be fair, I wouldn't be able to recognize someone I saw a sketch of on a wanted poster, nor would the artist be able to reproduce the person's face that well without ever seeing them (to the point that someone who looks at you would know, without a doubt that it's you). This might give people susp...

I've been known to steal entire wagons (when I rode a horse), steal from wagons as people drop things in (from hiding of course), pillage bags, murder orphans, slaughter horses, harvest entire farms, and run off with lumberyard stockpiles. Just to clarify, it's not acting as armor when you're studied. It sounds like it's still providing perception decreases as if you had a hood on (not too sure hoods should be dropping perception either but not a big deal).

Maybe I've just seen a series of lucky shots then... any chance someone could check? I wonder if this got fixed when melee aiming was fixed and if it uses the same code.
