Re: Woodworking Weapons
Name aside, is this what you are looking for? You carefully examine an exquisite walking-stick... The walking-stick is straight and smooth, allowing for good balance. It is a medium-sized item, mainly made of spruce. It could be wielded in melee combat with one hand, its effectiveness dependent on y...

Re: Events will happen - with or without players
Just want to say the way events at Mistral Lake have been playing out recently, it's really neat to see posts on the town boards that change with events. It reinforces the fact that there are NPCs running about living their lives in the world as well as the PCs. Also a huge plus for players on a dif...

Re: Clok Poetry
<3 this “The Law for the Wolves” by Rudyard Kipling Now this is the Law of the Jungle—as old and as true as the sky; And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back— For the strength o...

Re: Mistral Managerial Matters
Actually really like the sleepy, creepy lakeside town vibe that might not have all the 'wants' but has all the 'needs'.
Helps with contrast to the other two towns IMHO

Re: Roleplay-Related Questions on Characters
Question for no particular character:
How does one play a solitary or less social character & still feel one is in a living breathing world without suffering burnout or starvation from lack of RP?

Re: Iffy durability issues
On a sidenote.. but equally odd is the dussack sizes. The 1st and 2nd example above are fresh from carving, the 3rd example after I set it in my 'hurl set' & 'gather hurled' it into my cloak. Pre-shrinkage, a dussack under the dagger category is carved from a small branch, of medium size & c...

Iffy durability issues
Lately while carving branches, I noticed freshly carved dussacks have a drop in durability while freshly carved rudi did not. So I did a few carvings of things I rarely carve just to see if it was strange or intended. Posted here are some very recent woodcarving results, was hoping some more experie...

Re: Examine Weapons
Agreed. Sometimes it's written in the description text but it's hard to determine how much is fact / fiction.
Also, regarding how bigger helms having a perception penalty tags in their descriptions.. it would be a kindness to get a stealth penalty tags on armors too. Caveat Emptor and stuff?

Re: Thoughts on melee from a game design POV
6. Women and men are not equal in a melee. Not even the strongest of well trained women against the average military man. A game striving for martial realism and strict role-play that ignores the differing roles that men and women have in war is moving away from its design. Women in Clok are nothin...

General abilities / Skinning question
Was reading up on the general abilites currently available and was wondering why the only gathering profession skinning gated behind Bushcraft Basics & Skinning Focus?
Or is this just part of the staggered releases & balancing?

As I'm still quite new to the game / world in general & I'm still absorbing as much info / lore as I can, so.. apologies in advance. Anyways, I once asked ICly about containers filled with food at a crossroads which I came across while exploring the wilderness. The reply I got was that they were...
