Re: New Players and CLOK
I missed Castillo? I'm gutted :( Stupid work! As for helping new players, I do what I can if I'm around and am quite willing to answer any questions if I know the answer. Like Jilliana, you can send me a tell if I'm around (usually as Tirya recently). I am, however, a great lover of finding question...

Tea
I was talking to Vunrad earlier and he came up with an idea I quite like. We have the option to make tea in game with the bags sold in shops, but could it be coded so we can make our own tea using foraged herbs? His example was Mountain Mint tea: Mountain Bloom + Mint. People can be funny about thei...

Re: Winter Solstice Celebration
I may be able to join for an hour or so, but 5 hour timezone differences make it difficult and I have a flight on the 21st. I'm not sure what time I'll be setting off to the airport either and I just get travel sick if I try read in a car.

It may just be me being daft and unable to find them, but could we please get non-iron/steel arrows available for sale in the Outpost?
Haiban and Mistral only sell iron or steel and Shadgard just likes trying to kill me.

This may help some with lag issues. It was discussed here when some players were having a problem with disconnections:

Re: New elemancer here, questions and ideas.
Regarding your second question, I shall quote our great creator: "Here's how elemancy works: The freeblegreeble and the zippoflasm have to be combined with the correct ration of himbleplimp, then you add the gargenheimer and adjust the froopulon for the pattern you want, apply some tarratarrtar...

Re: New elemancer here, questions and ideas.
I believe what Lysse means by battlemage is your armour-wearing, claymore-wielding, bolt throwing nutcase. Elemancers of course use their power to defend themselves, there is nothing saying that we can't, unlike the monastic order. But we also study patterns etc. My elemancer is conducting specific ...

Re: New elemancer here, questions and ideas.
I'm not sure which books n the library you mean, so I can't anser that one. If you mean the books you can buy, you can 'study' them for lessons rather than buying lessons from trainers. Training the specific elements helps improve aim with them and also opens up new spells and abilities, especially ...

Thanks for checking the Soul Retrieval and Beacons, Jirato. It was something I noticed myself but just figured it was an RP thing, like the familiar taking a while to locate your soul of something.

Dorn.. I must see that mummer. I'm sure he and Akila would get on so well! He sings his songs of self-glorification, whilst Akila counters with the true version or how he really turned an ran.

Re: Event Flag: Let us know that you want to be involved
I quite like these little things the GMs do. I've certainly had plenty on Akila - some started by myself with many many think commands which ultimately has led to where she is now. Really, the best one I have had was a simple "What am I feeling?" in Corvus, similar to when you're feeling a...

It seems npcmail is bugged. I'm unable to send any at all and get the standard "Oops. That command execution failed." message.
I sent it as an in-game bug (Bug report #13556)

Re: Many shout-outs
I didn't realise how much I actually missed playing Akila when I nipped onto her and was pretty much thrown into it. It has been a lot of fun so far, so thank you for reigniting that want to log into a character I, like Dakhal, had considered mostly retired.
