Re: Choosing between your characters
I don't choose what character to play. I let whatever character wants to be played the most choose me. Or something like that.

Re: Let's talk about death.
Honestly my main PC is pretty selfish but feels a general interest in rescuing dead people It's almost always someone else is on the way or I have no idea where the dead person is AT ALL that keeps her from saving someone Maybe a revamp of the current system, in the case of not having explored any s...

Good post.
Sometimes you have to take a step back and take a deep breath and rethink things so you don't get hurt feelings from IC stuff.

Would you mind standing at the gates and looking spooky dangerous 24/7, for a little bit, until we can find them a good replacement? <3Rias wrote:I'd advise such towns against putting all their eggs in one basket!

Re: Monks under review
I was curious how Sanctuary is planned to work. By banish all nethrim, does that mean a Monk would be able to walk into a room, drop the spell, and poof no more Nethrim? Or maybe it just means no new nethrim can spawn into the room? Very powerful either way. Maybe too strong considering some town's ...

Re: How do you feel about CLOK's wilderness system?
Tangela, most MUD wilderness are just like the inside of towns, or some place like Ebon pass. I'm not sure how restrictive of movement Jirato is thinking, but it would probably be at least similar to like the inside of Mistral lake as far as navigation would go.

Re: How do you feel about CLOK's wilderness system?
I like Clok's method. I love the maps in Fantasy books and Clok lets me play on one :D
If I could change anything about it I'd let people see more than just 1 room away in every direction though!

Re: Make all small sheathes closable by default.
If you want to counter pickpocketing in all its forms, train your perception skill. It seems like you're just looking for an easy out. I think this hits the nail on the head. If you're going out of your way to get a fancy knife from an artisan/event shop, might as well put the effort in to get a sh...

Re: Make all small sheathes closable by default.
Mehhhh. People have to grind multiple skills to get a chance to steal a dagger. The opposition should have to expend some form of effort to counter it. All "this makes sense for the crafty Lost Lander" aside for the sake of a balance of effort IMO. As far as basic functionalities goes thou...

Re: Make all small sheathes closable by default.
Taking extra steps to counter a specific play-style or whatever should be a thing I feel, and I'm glad dagger sheathes aren't already built-in countering, myself!

Re: What is your character's theme song?
Yeah I couldn't actually seriously name any theme for any of my chars. :P I just thought the song was funny because of all the variations of black and how (my char included) the darker side gravitates toward that side... Understandably. Well and another color, but I'll refrain from too much details!
