Re: Answers to some Clok revival FAQs
I have something to chime in on this though I'm not sure if it's really the case: let's say you can't sell anything superior and higher anymore. What if a 2500 swordsmith keeps making superior sword blade? Or does it mean every forgeable, unmodified, will come out as good as fine now? It might mean ...

Re: Answers to some Clok revival FAQs
This really puts me at ease after my previous requesting trainers topic on the forum a few days ago. I loooooove the specialized facilities idea. Reminds me of that volcanic forge in a certain mud I also play that lets you reforge/enhance items. Imagine this in an epic fashion. It'll be a bit of a p...

Could we get some trainers back, please?
Hello There are still some mundane skills, mostly professions, that still lack trainers despite of the skills being usable again, locking newer characters at 0 of everything not combat related. As how it currently is, you can't craft or do anything when you have less than 1 in anything and even trai...

Re: elemancy channeling flavor messages
I can get druidry no problem. I have it. I'll get the rest from others if they have them. Thank you Alila. Thank you Rias. Can't wait for the guild to open so I can enroll ma ic hulk in.

Re: elemancy channeling flavor messages
Anyone remind me which messages, please? I'd like to look into the stuff to salvage the text from the very old clok soundpack if we bring this back because the stuff are already in there but I don't remember what is what anymore. We used to have them all, if I remember.

Re: Public Mailbox Directory!
I vote for having shelved characters stay on the list because otherwise it could create this scenario where someone wants someone's mail. He's away for a month with a guaranteed return, so you can still send him mail if you want his services or love confession when he comes back or something.

Re: Public Mailbox Directory!
I like this. It'll make finding mails of chars who're bound to be sent to a lot much easier than going hey what's Mr. balloon's mail again? The aforementioned balloon can just put his mail up so the public can see.

*stares guiltily at self**Hey, I was just too lazy to rent a room! Alright fine fine fine, I yield.:( Actually jokes aside, thank you for making it a thing now rather than later on because things trickle back in slowly and we got time to prepare. It's going to definitely be a headache having to mana...

Re: Don't Forget
I find it funny that the fun topic is funnily in a fun place called feature request and suggestions. Jokes aside though, I agree. It was because people lacked this in the past that killed a lot of mud communities and derailed the intentions of the devs who created those muds. They want to have fun a...

Re: RP and Backstory Guidelines
Thank you for the answers for every question. There's one of them that ended up touching Arty's story though so I sent you a mail as you stated just in case. Perhaps I should utilize the backstory command more. I keep forgetting it's a thing. Over all though, these answers give me a huge relief and ...

Re: RP and Backstory Guidelines
A curiosity since I don't have and don't intend to plan to have a char of big background anyway and since significance is a keyword here: does something like a very lesser noble or son of a lesser figurehead who barely knows anything acceptable? Like it's not anything significant, more like backgrou...

Re: New Character?
So Rias said at one point that we can still keep that memorial monument thingy of Cogg chars, which I suppose we can play it off as someone who's lived within these three years we've been wherever. But what about playermade legacy town stuff like that bakery table? Let's say if someone is to resurre...

Does any of that include worshippable bench?*grins at Kismet*
Third, also wonder if we're getting race names Clok or Cogg style when we get chargen in place?

A few little things going with the mud
*facepalms guiltily* • Herbs (millions of them) • Food/cooking ingredients (over a million) • Bandages, poultices, and poultice cloth scraps (near a million) • Ranged ammunition of various types It wasn't me! It wasn't me!*screams* Extremely excited for this, though I may have to rework the entire s...

Re: The Importance of Good Communication
I'm just popping here to say I love you all. Tried logging in this morning and for some reason it didn't let me and there's no maintanence or anything going on. Does the mud crash? I don't know. But for some reason, the last two posts shook me to the core. I love Clok, really I do. It's been 7 years...

Man...can I just hate you all for like 5 seconds of my life? The post worker shuffles through some papers for a few moments, nods, and retrieves a package from behind the desk. "Here you go," she says as she hands you the package. "You've still got more incoming mail waiting to be pic...

Re: CLOK The Gathering July 14th 2021
1. I've heard and witnessed a lot of powerplay in guilds, like some guilds having too many abilities that pretty much destroys others in cvc to the point of making people frustrated ic and ooc, like near invincible, something like that. And this happens to one major guild that has quite a bit of pow...

I'm just going to jump in and clarify a bit of what Glare mentioned in the first post, number 4 and 5 specifically among others. I'm not sure if it was me who said it on chat (I knew I did to kent but couldn't remember if it was also me doing so) that we can't think for newbs when we're not newbs an...

Re: The Importance of Good Communication
This is not about gms but about players, and I really say this from the perspective of someone who has weight donning on me the most as "someone reliable in the team", position or not. Everyone looks for me, reports to me, speaks with me, all sorts of thing...and that includes pestering me...

Re: The Importance of Good Communication
It's not the justification part that's the problem here, Jirato. It's constructive criticism that comes with it, the things that would make you less stressed out before you do something and have people go "What the hell?" at you in the end. Also, I'm surprised why you didn't tune gray to s...

Re: The Importance of Good Communication
It kinda adds to when I mentioned "no explanation what so ever" in my previous post, to add some points you guys demonstrated. Let's say some change is added and people go "wait what? Why?" like I said above. When we started storming chat with questions, some gms were like I don'...
