Re: Razing Emleth
Kiyaani - Maybe the GMs intend people to try negotiation. Yes, they're resen. Yes, they're the evil, scary things with acid bulbs on their skin. Yes, some of them even have personality and can talk. Did anyone ever try finding out how a kid who only speaks Huec ended up all the way down in Emleth? D...

Re: Razing Emleth
One of my characters even thought burning down Emleth was a good idea from the beginning. As for the elemancy options, remember elemancy is non-permanent, so a hydromancer could probably douse out little flames that crept up, but they couldn't keep the surrounding foliage wet. If you had four aeroma...

Re: Ability request: Final resolve
What it is is "Hey look, reset!" and then either after combat has resolved or the wounds/energy has come back down, they're dead now unless a monk is spam healing them the entire fight, and even then after the combat ended I would say it should be a 100% chance of instant KO after combat c...

Re: Task ideas for the elements
Tasks are part of the reason I hardly play my elemancer. They're boring and yield very low guild points in return

Re: Ability request: Final resolve
I would say just a time-based penalty and some sort of cool down (like once a day/week something like that) Otherwise I think it is a super neat idea, the question is what prerequisites should there be? 1000 Thamaturgy?

Re: Another use for Aeromancy
What about stones from the hand?! I would love to be holding a river rock and just pewpewpew because of aeromancy. Also it doesn't seem to be that it always has to be 'outwards'. As seen via hydromancy's 'aid (my name)' which washes yourself, and when you use aeromancy to jump down something you cat...

Re: Training Mobs
I like Baerden's idea! Sort of like how MMOs will have world bosses or such spawn in an area that requires either a lot of skill/touch of luck to beat on your own or you need to get a group to take it down for awhile so you can return to normal training. Make it something that has slightly rare drop...

Re: artisan leatherworking
So one thing I noticed about leather working:
So far no matter what damage level I have given a leather piece of armor to an NPC repair shop, it returns in the same quality.
No matter what damage level I have given it to a PC leatherworker the quality was reduced by 1-2 levels

I like the idea! You should run around the towns and post this on all the town boards in game too!

They would have to entirely rewrite the core code of player character sheets/objects to get this done, which would be a pain in the rear end

Re: Poultice make # question
The easiest way to go about it is to put all your cloth and herbs into the same container that you are wearing and make poultices from there. You need both hands free to make the poultices (unless one of the hands is holding a cloth). It has been awhile since I've seen the 'failed' poultice message ...

Re: Sketch/Draw command
I think there may be a draw command implimented though I'm not sure how it works. I have an alias 'draw (weaponname)' to get out some of my weapons, and sometimes when I type it but use a weapon I haven't aliased it says 'Draw what?'

Re: Heave/Transfer/Logging
Heave has quit targetting the Shadgard sawmill carriage first if it is a pine log Correction: It quits heaving into the carriage first if you are the owner of the wagon that is also in the room. Still only pine logs. Edit: starting to break down with other logs as well now, hickory was the most rece...

While it would be neat to weed a particular plot, why wouldn't you just want to remove the weeds from the entire field?

Re: Heave/Transfer/Logging
It all seems good now, except that it appears you can put double the amount of cants in a carriage than you could before. Not sure if this was intentional or not. Correction: There is now no longer any limit to the amount of cants you can put in a carriage. I just put 24 cants in at once: which only...

I myself would lean away from this. There are two underused taverns in the same area that both have dart boards. If you want to use a dartboard go to one of those taverns.

Re: Soul Beacon Centers
Yeah, why do corpses require two people? A huge wardrobe can be heaved by a single person, but an average-sized person? No way. The wardrobe is probably set to be too light. For corpses, it's likely due to a recent change with weights. For now, I've just made player corpses always only require one ...

Only if you have a friend with you! You can't heave a corpse into a wagon alone, so.... yeah you kinda do have to haul it across the wilderness by hand if it is just you.

Heave/Transfer/Logging
Now that I guess transfer/heave was some sort of bug thing that has recently gotten fixed, turning logs into cants has gotten all weird and buggy and takes about twice the amount of work and dicking around to get the same job done. Now that you can't transfer logs, you've got to take one out, split ...

Re: CHAT Channel to be Removed
Looks like it wasn't a joke. Well CLOK it's been fun the month I've been here but I probably won't stick around much longer now. Too bad, was quite enjoying the game but with this sort of change and the comments I've been seeing recently on the BBS this is not the type of community I want to be a pa...

Re: CHAT Channel to be Removed
THis is highly upsetting to be honest. I dislike entirely RP/IC games as it fosters a very -very- strange community. Having a channel to destress/relax/not RP on helps make playing an RP game enjoyable to me and I am honestly not sure how much I will like a CLOK without chat/tell.
