Re: Why I Stopped Playing CLOK

After some consideration, and because I have been asked, I thought I might explain the primary reason behind my own increasing absence, and this seems an appropriate thread in which to do so. Simply put, I feel my character has no way to meaningfully accomplish the duties to which he is so strictly ...

Re: Things we do!

It can indeed be discouraging to see events being discussed on chat, when such situations could in fact be an excellent reason for people to gather in-character and discuss that way. I must also say that it is frustrating to have events spoiled in chat, and then needing to do one's best to pretend o...

Chants Adjustments

I have two requests regarding chants. The first is regarding Chant: Clarity, which sees overlap with Resolve, has no secondary effect in addition to skill boosts as the others chants do, and is of little practical use to a Templar as it currently stands on its own. A requested addition would be to a...

Re: Salt Flats, Desert of Desolation, Obsidian Crags

The flats are an enjoyable alternative to Thaelsh, offering a bit of choice and variety. It is also good to be able to visit the Crags without disturbing the Hyra. Thank you.

Re: Wars and rumors of wars (OPEN FORUM!)

I am combining my thoughts from another thread into this one, to try and preserve the integrity of the other thread. This post is quite lengthy, in true Viali fashion, and no offense will be taken if you choose to skip it. Characters treating other characters fairly or not is, I think, not an issue ...

Guild-Wide Mass Messages

This is a feature request for guild members of particular trust or standing to be able to send a message to all members of a guild. The post boards are nice, but see little use, and do not seem to be regularly checked by members. By utilizing the mail system, all members are sure to at least be noti...

Undying and the importance of the body

I would simply like to know if the body is required for an Undying to return: if their body is a requirement, or if they can return somehow after a body is completely destroyed, or broken into pieces and scattered, and similar. There was some discussion tonight regarding possible avenues of preventi...

Re: Tambourines

In what I hope is not too great a departure from the original intent of this thread, I should just like to say that I have yet to see any sort of organized musical performance involving more than a solo musician, and would be interested in seeing what someone might come up with in that vein. A pract...

Re: Battle Tournament!

A possibility for acquiring weapons of lesser lethality is to ask participants to seriously abuse a weapon beforehand and then set it aside for the competition. When weapons become heavily damaged, their damage output decreases dramatically, as experience with one poor over-used longsword has taught...

Re: Battle Tournament!

I will volunteer healing and revitalization as much as I am able, schedule permitting. I can heal up to moderate wounds via thaumaturgy. If there is an issue with using thaumaturgy in support of such an event, I would appreciate a word saying as much, and I will withdraw my offer. Considering the ev...

Re: What is your character's theme song?

I feel this applies to Alexander in regards to his past and how he strangely ended up a Knight Templar, as well as the resulting outlook he has developed regarding mankind in general.

"Through Heaven's Eyes", from the film Prince of Egypt.
