You may wish to employ the NPCMAIL command with which you may send mail to NPCs from any post office.

Re: Suggestion: Church Member Registry
I support the idea of a registry of names and positions, though the inclusion of address should perhaps be optional based on the individual's preference. A name is all that is required to send mail, after all.

Re: The Clok Strikes Twelve
This is sad news indeed; CLOK will suffer for the loss of Skah. May you find another role or niche you enjoy, and rejoin us with renewed enthusiasm. Perhaps you will bring to us our newest Knight Templar.

I would very much enjoy the possibility of a seal, for the sake of flavor alone.

Re: Fail to teach message
I think the trouble is in that the teacher can attempt to teach the student and, without any indication to the student that anything is happening, be informed that he is incapable of teaching the skill to the student. Logically, the student would need to be aware of the teacher's attempts and respon...

Trash receptacle
A trash receptacle of some kind would be appreciated somewhere within the Shadgard facilities. This came to mind when I went to discard a wooden shield from the Templar Armory that had been battered, and I thought it would be undesirable for it to be placed somewhere public where another might take ...

WARMTH command, and warm food/drink bonus
It would be wonderful to have some way of determining the amount of warmth we are enjoying from our equipment, and perhaps other factors. Here is an example of what it might do: warmth You are feeling moderately protected from cold weather. The following items you are wearing are especially warm: A ...

CLOK promotion
Jhordon and I have been attempting to promote CLOK on mudconnect.com and topmudsites.com. If you enjoy CLOK, I urge you to please do the same. If others see a greater number of people proclaiming their enjoyment of CLOK, perhaps we will find more visitors and new members of our excellent community. ...

Re: Sparring ideas?
I would recommend wearing a sturdy helmet during training with even the flimsiest of weapons, if saftey and longevity of the sparring session is your primary concern. It seems obvious that this would be preferable over sparring without protection. One concern brought up in the past that I cannot rec...

Re: Couple of my thoughts.
If you're trying to completely min/max all aspects of your grinding it's probably not optimal I suspect this is the crux of the issue. Never having been one for over-optimization, I have been quite blissful in my likely nonoptimal yet still fun and viable ignorance. I highly recommend it to my peers.

Re: Couple of my thoughts.
I will speak as a character who has worn a set of full plate for years and has never trained the dodge skill. Using heavy armor and eschewing dodge is perfectly viable. Parrying is an excellent defense, and requires virtually no training, as the number goes up with your weapon skill, which you alrea...

Re: Less of a chance of a stun when disarming
Because executing a disarm takes five seconds itself, the only time disarming is useful is when your foe is unable to pick up the disarmed weapon for six seconds and you are thus able to follow up with an attack to your opponent while they are still disarmed. Otherwise, your foe will simply retrieve...

Re: Character based twitter accounts?
My intent was to have the Twitter account be a mock of my own character, and I would consider it separate from my CLOK persona, though based on it. I would certainly do and say things my character would not, to keep with the modern medium and to make things more interesting.

Resting in the rain
While I sit here in the rain to recover my stamina, it occurs to me that there might be some detrimental effects from standing or sitting about in the rain for prolonged periods. I'm still uncertain over whether getting a cold from being in the rain was simply a tale told by mothers to keep us from ...

While I understand that scabbards and similar are built to hold a variety of weapon sizes for simplicity, it might be best to leave out this message for such things to avoid misinterpretations like the thought that one can store multiple weapons in a single scabbard. look in my scabbard In the silve...
