Long time no see, got something for y'all!
Hello hello everybody! Its been quite a few years since I was active on Clok, or even the forums. I still remember it fondly however, even if I probably won't return to any of my old characters. Rest in peace Taric, the mercenary who'd do anything for some Riln, along with my barely remembered eleme...

Psh, armor is for losers. Its not like Taric got all those death achievements because he was armorless, its obv because he didn't parry hard enough.

Re: Making mercenaries relevant
+1 for letting Mercs have a chance to buy the ring. Taric had one when he was still a merc, but he maaaay have stolen it off a body and just played it off as having received it legitimately somewhere. No one ever questioned him on it.

Re: Cryomancy and heat
Hello hello Zaroth, I see you've been asking magic questions in other threads as well. Most of your examination is probably as close to correct as we on the player side will see, but I'll throw in what I know about Nether (which is what you were mistakenly calling "nethram"). Nether is a s...

Great amv. Seeing a back scabbard for a sword of that size now that I've seen how that would actually (not) work hurts though. Hurts a lot.

I enjoyed terraria. Bit lackluster to build things in however, heh. It's a fun idea though and about as close as you could get in the medium.

Re: Character Concepts
Haven't thought deeply through it, but I've been heavily considering making a character that has dozens of versions of himself that constantly distract and talk to each other as the character moves about his daily life. Occasionally playing chess with each other, occasionally forming music groups, s...

Re: Event Flag: Let us know that you want to be involved
Honestly, I feel like the mechanical changes to a character are just shorthand for saying "character changing events", which could be incredibly diverse, from being as random as waking up in a jail cell and informed you committed a crime you were framed for (and all the rp that would come ...

Re: Staves and Monks
Hmm. Honestly, I think that while it makes sense lore wise for them to train with something defensive, I think they are pretty well off in pure defense mechanically. I might be remembering wrong, but don't they have some ability that Keeps enemies off them at least momentarily? And that's generally ...

Re: Ebon Pass Treasure Hunters
Having explored it in character, I really do enjoy it myself, however one thing I noticed that might need to be adjusted is that the mobs seem to be completely human, yet have no fear of death and therefore do not run when hurt as most other human mobs do. Just a suggestion, don't know how hard it w...

Re: NPCs and Decisions
I've had the same problems here myself with other people, and one thing that can exacerbate it at times, from what I've seen at least, is that some guilds stands on certain things are kinda vague. Are you acting in your guilds best interests? If your guildmaster was standing in your shoes what would...

Setting up characters was loads of fun! Anybody who couldnt make it I think will just need to meet up with lysse before the next session to get their characters done really quick. We will be doing background connections at the beginning of the first session :D cant wait.

Well, I can't use it at all. They have a mobile app, but it's only available on iPad, and to use it from a mobile browser you have to have a paid upgraded account. oh that sucks. Hmm. You are holding an iron-tipped oak lance in your right hand and an exquisite bronze kite shield in your left hand. (Changing combat position to Engage) You urge your bulky black warhorse into charging toward a ghostly varhound keeper! You fumble with your iron-tipped oak lance, unable to swing it e...

I've never once either played tabletop or really seen much of it, and it seems a bit overwhelming, but I've been watching some YouTube videos of dnd campaigns and I think it'd be tons of fun to at least try it!
