Is there any chance with this change that we get a rollback on the 'no account can have both active Shadgardian and Corvite on their account' ruling? It's not like there will be any plotlines for them to be spying on/taking advantage of for the most part

Personally, I think that the only way to get no penalty at all should be no armor at all! After all, it is an option and should have some weight to it. I don't use armor myself, muahaha.

I suppose an argument could be made to have light armor zero out and no armor give bonus rerolls instead tho.

Its difficult to judge the current state of the game pre-abilities, since they will be so instrumental in determining skill progression. I think the general answer to this question when I asked to Rias in voice chat was "TBD", progression is more of a question for after everything actually works ...

Would the concept of elemental mixing imply that there are other personifications of mixed elemental heritage, possibly "immortal" but potentially more of a minor supernatural being, for things like steam, acid, lava, etc?

This is fantastic to hear. Do you want players to drop in on this post with ideas for where this energy can go? Start trying to put things together IC with other pcs? Email/DM you directly their plots, or just start going with things and get you on the page (if even neccessary) later?

Okay so, what can we do now to increase perception? That's the one I'm most concerned about, but the only ways I knew to train it at all which took a while as it is, no longer work. That one's a pain and pretty important.

I was considering having multi-strikes work like spells that can land multiple hits, and make only the initial attack have the Offense vs Defense rolls (and thus skillgain). If the initial strike misses, the attack is done. If it hits, there are chances for additional strikes but they are more ...

Your still not addressing the issue of early skill levels when multiple strikes are uncommon.

It'd be interesting to see greater skill gains for larger, non-multi strike weapons, sure.

A couple things, though. A greatsword is -9 energy. A three-strike dagger attack, one handed, is also -9 energy, for about half the maximum damage of a greatsword. Assuming dual-wielding daggers maintains ...

+1 for letting Mercs have a chance to buy the ring. Taric had one when he was still a merc, but he maaaay have stolen it off a body and just played it off as having received it legitimately somewhere. No one ever questioned him on it.
