Re: Keper River
For an area that is probably there to help fill in the skinning gap, I'm just going to say it feels kind of small compared to the 2 mobs that spawn just because you end up a lot of the time not having the time to skin. Maybe I'm just being stupidly unlucky, but figured I'd comment and see if anyone...

Re: Suggestion: Church Member Registry
Only problem I see with it is that not all monks or Templar are pcs. And while it might be fun to have all of those npcs names, the GMs probably don't exactly named every vnpc monk or Templar in the lands.

Oh noesRias wrote:I think a lot of expectations have been set and coded around armor weights and the associated encumbrance they bring. So, if armor weights get lowered, I wouldn't be surprised if encumbrance thresholds did as well. (Bummer for people who don't use armor!)

Re: Item Customization
Rather than "unique" descriptions, why not post several long descriptions for all the current types of weapons and their metals on the forums? Made by players, approved by GMs, automatically becomes the long description for that style of sword of that metal. Would perhaps lessen the need f...

Character descriptions
Well it was talked about earlier in another thread, but no thread cropped up, so I figured I'd start one up here. Let's go with avoiding description of clothing since that changes pretty regularly, but tattoos and the like (or near permanently worn hair changes) would be acceptable I think. Ok! Let'...

How do we know riln can even be fashioned into a ring, huh ? But no, rings made of bone, wood, stone, and yes, even riln and leather would be interesting. Sorta related: Are piercings a thing? I mean besides earrings of course. Like, could we get our septum pierced? Our eyebrows? Lips? I imagine th...

Re: Dead Count
Well, just like infirmaries are free to new players untik the newbie bonus wears off, equipment dropping could be restricted for a time. Maybe until the bonus wears off, or until one combat-related skill reaches 25. +1 for newbie bonus, personally don't like the "combat skill reaches 25" ...

Re: Dead Count
I don't know, equipment loss on death would start changing the attitudes that if something isn't exquisite it's not worth using, because they'd have to deal with the chance that items are lost when they die. I almost feel like that would be a good thing? We'd see a lot more use of Artisans, with pe...

For some reason, the spelling of Jirato's name as "Geraldo" made me think of " Gyarados" the Pokemon. And noe I really want to call Jirato Gyarados. UGH. Gyarados kicked my butt in the Pokemon Y Elite 4, hardest fight in the entire game. How do you feel about Pokemon go Jirato(G...

Re: Undying and the importance of the body
Q: If someone has multiple corpses, can all the corpses be Beaconed/Retrievaled/turned into revenants? A: No, because there's only one soul. It might be fun to turn one's own previous corpse into a ghoul, though. Ooooh! I like this idea. Too bad it won't happen. It's great for imagination. As for t...

Re: Dead Count
I wasn't really truly lamenting the loss of the old death mechanics, I was just lamenting how dull the current system is. I honestly never depart. I could probably count on one hand the number of times I've departed in the last year or so, and that's one year of active playing, not including the mo...

Oh, how I miss the days when you were basically an invisible ghost attached to your corpse and could see and hear everything that went on in the same room as your body. Re: how old are you?
I don't understand why 18 has to be the age of adulthood for CLOK. Depending on what time period you look at, adulthood began as early as 13 IRL, whereupon the "child" was expected to work, earn a wage, or even marry. Granted, this was many hundreds of years ago, but given CLOK's level of...

Perhaps when a toll is sent out, it can be assigned a random characteristic so that we can (1) distinguish between those tolling and (2) pinpoint which one we are rescuing with the rescue pulse. This would also serve the purpose of partially obscuring who was tolling, since each new death would be ...

If they're traditionally wielded twohanded, should they be converted to hand-and-a-halfers at least? Also, I just like the word "estoc". It's fun to write, read, and say. Estoc, estoc, estoc! If they were, I'd advise their damage to be buffed somehow to make up for it. Hand and a half wou...
