Re: Storage space

Yeah, I agree. To me, I look at the issue: space. We're not in a hyper dense population area, the main coalition town just expanded, it should be touting benefits to artisans of all levels. Sure, having 1-2 exquisite steel weapons of all types, and the same with armors is a bit overkill, but lets fa...

Storage space

I feel this topic probably affects Artisans the most, so I'm posting here. Why do we need so much storage space? Because we store rare materials: Leather, wood, Cobalt, bloodglass, steel, riversteel, rarer gems such as diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies in great assortment of colors. And that's b...

Re: Walk-In Bank Vaults

Will we, as a result lose overall space access? Will we gain overall space access? I just hope/want to make sure I'm not going to have to garbage a bunch of stuff, because I won't have enough space, or have an option to get enough space/buy enough space for my needs.

Vaults wish list

It's been such a long time, I don't even recall what we wanted vaults to be. Some ideas and suggestions in order of priority 1. Sorting options - perhaps by user option toggles, so a player can choose to sort by alphabetical, by material, or by container (list containers at top/bottom) 2. some way t...

Re: 'Sona Songs'

Been awhile since i bothered to note down a "Sona song", so here's one from today. Lost out in the night, embers brush against the sky, Warmth fading as they escape the fire, from the forge where hammers ring. A steady rhythm sounds against the anvil cold, which strike will ring true? Whic...

Re: Sona theories/research - what's new today?

It will be fun to go through the process with players (and NPCs?) ICly, while some numbers, units and values can be arbitrary, they can be fun and of note for developing application, understanding forces, and advancement ICly. Because Grum are nerds. In the face of academic disagreement, Sona will s...

Sona theories/research - what's new today?

studying energies and forces. Specifically the arcane-y spiritual ones. Disclaimer: this could be weird border-y IC/OOC info. But Sona's studying it from an IC perspective. Because who cares about OOC mechanics, when you can have Grum science-y fun. Nerds. First test: Channeling 1 channel. Timed, to...

Re: Import shop

Sometimes I do. I mostly try to moderate the emotion in my posts, and sometimes a bit comes out so that sometimes it's a bit sharper than may be necessary and there can be a lot of reasons that spur those emotions on. I do try and keep it pretty reasonable though, so I'll try and explain some things...

Re: Import shop

No worries, I can understand that. It's hard not to sound angry and defensive, or offensive about topics which are sensitive, and difficult to deal with. Not to mention it's a topic that splits the playerbase on opinions in many different ways. I don't think everyone's ever going to agree on everyth...

Re: Import shop

I know you want to get stuff in your import shop, and I want you to too, but you keep bringing up the dues. I pay monthly dues in my guild too, and we don't have any shop that gets special rare things stocked occasionally, at all. Your import shop hasn't been stocked in several months. Well we went...

Re: Import shop

Any replies to this? We've all been in agreement on mines for a long time now - and we admit that takes work. Stocking an import that we pay (part of artisan dues) to be stocked takes minimum effort. Very minimum effort. Further, it would be a very nice idea to send a mail out to all merchants when ...

Please sir, may our guild stuff not receive more nerf-fixes? Every time I enquire about nicer or more convenient stuff, something seems to be reduced, removed, or altered in a non-beneficial way.

Re: Import shop

Import shop may be less of a main draw, if there was a greater chance of being able to pop a glittering cavern more than once a year, or less. Certainly there's a lot of improvements that need to be implemented, but if expanded crafting and rare materials aren't part of being an Artisan, I don't kno...

And I hope we don't downplay the Import shop. It's sorta a main draw, being able to get rarer materials, at least semi-regularly.

re: workspace rentals. I don't suppose we could get monthly rentals/rates. Maybe like 5000/month? Because when I had stuff lapse by a day, It took me more than a month to decide to actually go get my stuff and do artisan things again, because so much stuff. Better yet, personal, permanent shops/work...

Could we have artisan dues done away with, until we can get the shop stocked at minimum, once a month? Because otherwise it feels like we're getting hosed for nothing.

Re: Who's the star of your guild?

There's a certain skill in being able to juggle everything. GMs tackling various tasks and responsibilities, PCs/players doing the same.We have no mechanism for players to step up and poke at things without approval or interaction from GMs. The caveat for this is that players can do non-progressive ...
