Re: Roleplay-Related Questions on Characters
That has always been one of my biggest beefs. I have seen a lot of characters in a lot of games come to the GMs and say "Well there is no role play here." When the last few interactions had the PC pulling guns or weapons and leveling them at anything that tried to get to know them. Being s...

Re: Incense burners?
Well, I imagine people want to put incense holders on top of tables and things...I'm going to have to make incense holders all wierdy. Until then, you can now burn incense sticks on top of things. So if you have a personal altar or shrine, you can properly offer incense to your PCs Immortal of choice!

This is turning out to be a lot more complex than I had first thought. Going to need to look more into this i'm afraid.

Re: Abilities requiring Weapon Masteries:Ideas
Iaijutsu is out, but a kind of awesome quick draw ability that allows you to grab a weapon from its sheath in reaction to an attack to get that first parry roll would be nifty i think.

Re: Skinning Focus vs Bushcraft: Basics
Alright so this is how this works. If you have skinning focus, you are able to skin anything AND are not limited to any quality. You don't need -any- other abilities for skinning IF you take this ability. If you don't have skinning focus but DO have bush-craft basics, you are able to skin UP TO aver...

haiban has always had issues with that, i believe its because the materials set changes both of those previously mentioned variables. I'll take a look at order as well.

This is more than likely a failure on it checking what the dussack is made out of ans failing to se both max and current to be the same value, i can take a look when i get home from class.

Re: The Gaea Reformed
People with the cultivate task now get druidry gains from completely these tasks. This is an attempt to move druidry away from gains exclusively from attacking things with the Gaea's gift. Any more suggestions would be welcomed, I have a few more things in mind but I'm open to more suggestions. Help...

Re: The Gaea Reformed
The Udemi of the Tse Gaiyan are no longer trained to be able to channel the third channel of druidry. So what does this mean? Funnily enough, not a whole lot. The third channel of druidry didn't actually do anything outside of speeding up channeling gains and for two powers which gave them a -slight...

Re: The Gaea Reformed
This means that druidry powers are going to be changed. If you have them then you won't lose them. You will not be able to get new powers without being apart of whatever guilds get them of course. So more or less they will all be updated.

The Gaea Reformed
After some discussion with Jirato, we have decided to change how the Gaea works wholesale. The old system has been completely removed and the new shiny system is up and running. So this will lead a lot of you to ask, "Well, what has changed." To answer simply, a lot. The full intricacies w...

Re: Thoughts on melee from a game design POV
To stop this thread from having 1000 posts by the early morning.... I will -never- work on or for a game that would specifically inhibit female players from doing -anything- that a man can do because of gender roles. I understand what your speaking about but we all come here to enjoy ourselves and y...

Personally, i think your all over looking the advantage the current system has. yes your in danger but your able to gain skill where once you could not. Allowing you to guard someone with even part of your full skill while giving your apprentice completely effortless improved gains seems completely ...

Making tea for your tea parties
You can now STEEP tea in your teapots. They can be purchased where tea is sold and new stores will slowly be unrolling to add more places for more things! Each town will carry some unique flavors (That have the stores for it) Look forward to new things and perhaps even a Tea Merchant for exotic teas...

Re: Non-combat way to skill gain.
The issue i believe isnt that elemancers lack control, its that they lack control on the fly. if you wanted to do something percise it takes time (and math) to draw the pattern out and commit it to memory. Thats how these spells come into being, someone discovering a universally useful or spending t...

Re: Good artisan changes
I'd actually be a fan of setting up things to only be repaired so many times and allowing artisan blacksmiths the ability to add a bit of bonus durability when the item is repaired. That way weapons still are cycled, youd get say 3 repairs from them and artisans would still be the best people to fin...

i just wanted to put out a reminder! Remember if you need GM support for any player run event, drop us or me an email. Its part of what i do for the mud but not too many take advantage. That being said also make sure you give me plenty of warning and aren't asking for the moon. Some custom rooms (li...

Re: Mechanics for IC Self-Harm
As far as RPing injuries and the likes, sometimes it ranges away from "this is whats going on" and needs to both fool the character and the player. There is always a metagaming aspect to any game. Showing true to a real wound instead of an RP one will make some rouses infinitely more affec...
