Re: Peace be with you Rias

Rias you will be missed.

Jirato, from a customer service PR standpoint you should put out some statements right away. This is your game now and we're all on tenterhooks. Give us a warm fuzzy, bud.

General Abilities Warning

Just a heads up: It appears some drastic changes are coming to abilities. I had to re-study all of mine today because they were all removed in order to facilitate the changes. No biggie. But here is the trick. It is easy to select a new general ability from the list. However: "One does not simp...

Re: Rook Philosopher

Further thought and discussion regarding the mind body problem yields more insights: I met a fool. Like most fools, they were able to glimpse a speck of light, enough to take deep offense, but unable to face it honestly. They fled from our discussion, specifically citing their most cherished delusio...

Rook Philosopher

The mind body problem. There exists in philosophy an important question which few are capable of considering seriously. As usual, most are quick to dismiss any such questions with humor, irony, or some other carnal distraction. I first learned of this philosopher’s dilemma years ago in Tol Rhun. The...

Re: Phylactery

I have procured another phylactery. I have attained a measure of consistency in my work, now. I was working on a small task for a philosophy teacher when I came across a man and a woman in the wilderness. I had dealt with her before, but he was unknown to me. When he fell happenstance in a melee I d...

Re: Hallucinogenic Mushrooms=Banned from Mistral

Thank you all for your opinions and responses. I hope to hear more from Rias, or anyone else who can move me toward closure on this issue, and the other issue with my warhorse that has me on a "hate list" and I cannot retrain or sell or even butcher for meat. LOL

Re: Hallucinogenic Mushrooms=Banned from Mistral

Keep in mind here, the guards were not actually harmed. No actual damage was done.

Hallucinogenic Mushrooms=Banned from Mistral

I have been trying to appeal my ban in Mistral for a long time now. I go to the watchers and ask them to talk to the constable. I even made it into the town once as a corpse, dragged thereby, and once inside the constable would not listen to me. My ban is a bit out of proportion to my actions. Mistr...

Re: Religion in CLOK

It seems to me that religion in Clok should be undiscussed but well-arranged for. What I mean is that all options for religious flavors should be possible in the game and supported by its mechanics. The trick would be permitting plausible deniability at every turn, allowing for open competing theori...

The Color of Delusion

In my time here I've learned about a mental convolution upon which thoughts can be shared across space and time. By purchasing a unique pendant from the mummers, a mind can join this reticulation and share in the mass delusion that cuts into the debate of mind and matter. By what do these thoughts p...

Phylactery

Lost my friend today. My friend was taken by a few animals. Pleasant animals, really. No pretensions. No delusions. Mostly instinct, mostly unbridled, ungoverned, free, unthinking, full of peace from time to time; myriad routines no doubt-- properly stimulated. Animals remind me of eating, unfortuna...
