Re: Death about to become more dangerous
I don't know if a full out guide is necessary, but a less-obscure hint would be helpful. I can't die again. he's like "i told you to pay your debts," and I have no idea where to look.

Re: Prepping for the re-release of player mines
So, while digging, we were able to expand a room from small whole to tunnel, but unfortunately we weren’t able to expand it further. We put supports in and it still didn’t want to be dug out to the mineshaft. Unfortunately, still seems broken. ☹

Re: Re-release of player mines
So, I’ve noticed a couple things with player mines that seem a bit off. Digging out the mine itself took like, hours. I understand that am ok with it. Digging another room from when it was just created until it’s a little bigger also took hours. From the changelog, I was under the impression it wasn...

Re: Would you rather....
Rarer high-value ores and gems would be extraordinarily rare in the new system and you'd be better off visiting a monster-populated hunting area mine to gather anything of significant value like diamond or cobalt (risk vs reward). What about maintanence vs reward? If I'm going to spend all this tim...

Re: Request: Bandaging in the dark
What about this suggestion? Allow people to bandage bleeders in the dark. As Jaster says, we would be able to tell where the bleeding is coming from, thanks to our other senses. Since we would be bandaging in the dark, make the bandages come off – even with a poultice – way faster than it would with...

Re: Housing Discussion
Hi, So I’m in agreement that the wilderness/hamlets should be changed. I want to be clear on that. Having a character that went in on a home with another character (I only own one home on one of my characters) I am concerned about the time investment put forth in order to pay for my half and the ite...

Re: Walk-In Bank Vaults
I agree with Jirato, here. I think the space should be limited, but, as to my idea, I think that we should be able to pay a premium for said space if we decide we want to, again, up to a limit of, say, 2 or 3 other items besides the one exdtra. Either way, though, I prefer this to bank vaults a lot.

For those that are using the soundpack for VIPMud, you have the power of buffers, provided you are using one of the supported screen-readers. Press alt left and alt right to navigate through the buffers, and alt 1 through alt 0 to review the last ten messages placed there. Note that the buffers, at ...

Re: Walk-In Bank Vaults
Acaran is right -- we should have a limit, but if people want to pay for a bit more then I say let them up to a limit.
Also, sneaky, good to hear! really really glad that someone's tested them :).

Re: Walk-In Bank Vaults
I haven't checked new prices, so, I'm going to stick with the 10000 riln for larger container price because that's what I know. Either way I think the idea will come across fine. Let's say I buy large crate at 10000 riln. I store junk in it and i'm unhappy with how much my stuff costs. So, I want an...

Re: Wars and rumors of wars (OPEN FORUM!)
Solution is simple: 1. if you've gotten stolen from, watch your crap. 2. If you're the one stealing, don't get caught or you're going to have that reputation. 3. If you have a reputation of stealing, don't complain about it, especially if it's what you do. If it's not true the rep won't stick. If yo...

Re: Walk-In Bank Vaults
Ok so after some reflection, I mostly like the change. here are a few things I would like to see: * the ability to have a couple of weapons racks. We have different weapons for different reasons and it would be nice to be able to store them. I'm not saying anything ridiculous like 20 weapons, but fi...

Re: Roleplay-Related Questions on Characters
My character, Merin, has every right to dislike Vaylon -- offering 10000 riln for his location certainly plays into that. Me, as a player, could care less if Vaylon's character lives or dies. I close my computer and, until I want to take place in the Lost Lands, he doesn't exist to me. I hope that c...

Re: Wars and rumors of wars (OPEN FORUM!)
• Player - How do you as a player suggest this problem should be resolved with your fellow players not being able to separate and not having the appropriate in character proof that your own character is acting a certain way? This is whether or not you believe it exists or not. Life isn’t fair. If so...

Re: Roleplay-Related Questions on Characters
The “I’m going to annoy the hell out of you because I think whatever,” is quite clear. In character, I have heard from several sources, therefore, I have to, as a character, prepare for and entertain the thought that the stalking is a viable solution. I fail to see how a person’s player falls into t...

Re: Roleplay-Related Questions on Characters
Weather or not people hate you is you and their business, but I can think of several reasons I dislike Vaylon. It depends on which of the characters you want to know about. I'll give you this one, though, without searching it out I've heard that Vaylon harasses and makes women feel uncomfortable and...
