Re: suggestion: reduce grinding roundtime
You can actually kill yourself by grinding too many herbs at once.

Re: available space in containers
While we're at it, it would also be great to get an idea of how much a container can hold. We already have maximum item size, but not maximum weight or volume for the sum of contents.

Re: Armor and Weapons effecting Channeling
I think 'tick' is a better word than 'second'. I doubt the MUD ticks every second, though I suppose it is possible.

Re: Firearms discussion
Rifled barrels were not common or extremely advantageous until the 1800s. Armor was on its way out in the 1600s. By the mid-1700s it was gone. Didn’t see much armor in the art of the French and Indian Wars, Revolutionary War, or 1812. You’re saying armor went out because blacksmiths stopped craftin...

Some way to lead your horse
It would be very convenient to have some command that would cause your mount to follow you without actually riding it. There are times when I want to bring my horse with me, but not to be atop it - for example, when tracking or foraging or some such.

Disarm
As it works now, disarm isn't that useful of an ability. The most common situation when you're on your own is, if the disarm succeeds, the enemy is stunned long enough for one attack, then picks up his weapon and goes back to business as normal. The one attack you get is more than balanced out by th...

Skill level(s) for successful forging?
Around what skill level do you start seeing successful forging attempts other than just twisted lumps of metal? While we're on the subject, does anyone know roughly what level of skill is required to start getting or regularly get the various quality modifiers to your forging attempts, like misshape...

To be fair, I made the thread that Rias addressed after this one was made.

Re: Storage for chained weapons (and other sorts)
We could make haft-frogs work for the one-handed variety, and just assume the character pulls the haft all the way through until the head is pulled taut against the top of the haft-frog, then the haft is stuffed into the belt or something. Don't want to leave either end dangling to constantly sway ...

Storage for chained weapons (and other sorts)
From what I've seen in game, there is storage for hafted weapons (haft frogs), storage for poled weapons (pole harnesses), and storage for daggers and swords (sheaths), which is very convenient. However, it doesn't seem whips and flails have any storage mechanism - could this be fixed? You could eve...
