I don't think you should retract the suggestion. I think something like this would work particularly well for buffing a party. Look at it like this: mercenaries are experienced soldiers that know how the morale of comrades can affect the outcome of a battle, thus they can release shouts of encourage...

I can dig, too. It would require you to know a little about the person you're fighting, as to choose which defense debuff would give you the greatest advantage.

I like the idea, but I don't think it should be guild specific (other than what the text says when you taunt, as previously mentioned a templar may not slap somebody on the nose lol).
