Re: Hiding skills?

There used to be a Favorite Skills command which allowed you to add/remove skills based on whatever you wanted, and when you used it, it would just show those currently on the list.

I loved it.

Skills (Level) & Abilities (Learned)

Currently when you ask a trainer about what they teach, they list what they can currently offer in terms of skills, and abilities. A small QoL thing might be the following; Next to skills they offer to train, list in brackets the character's current skill in that skill, and if already training/pract...

Re: GMs want to get in on the player character experience

not even attempting on 2 and 3 because you're not playing it as PCs No sense in arguing semantics! I think we'll have a plenty valuable experience playing the game without any GM powers, with all the processes and grinds and progression and such that that entails, even if other people know we're do...

Re: GMs want to get in on the player character experience

if you truly want to experience what it is to be a player in your own game, it shouldn't have the fanfare and you guys should have just rolled up, formed an organization, and saw where it ended up. Sure, but this particular idea isn't to try and anonymously moonlight as players. We already do and h...

Re: GMs want to get in on the player character experience

While I hugely support the idea of GMs playing their own game, even if it is in brief surges of enthusiasm, (How else can creators appreciate/understand what they've created?), why make it so public? Even with the caveats you've mentioned, whatever happens it will always be "The GM group"...

Re: On the horizon: Ability Trees, Class Specializations, and Guilds

Interested in poking my head in, and seeing how this changes up mucking around. Nice to see such a large step taken towards fleshing out the combat side of things.

A: Don't you dare let that axe go to waste!
Guess that answers that really. The axe does have a certain siren's allure to it. Classic Black imagery.

All very interesting to read. I am so torn on choices.

On one hand, Gudleifr's axe. On the other, Tower Shield.

Re: Weight encumbrance now affects rerolls rather than die sides

I'm still working over a few ideas, but in general I think as a whole Armor is in a bad place right now and that isn't specifically to do with the situation with rerolls. I tend to think this is due to the bastardization of both the original Clok and Cogg systems which despite similarities had compl...

Repair: Able to?

Might possibly be best as a flag, or a skill check when an item is examined if they have any blacksmithing skill, but just a recognition if whether a character is able to repair an item or not. IE: You don't have sufficient crafting recipe knowledge required to repair such an item beyond superficial...

Incorporeal Nethrim & Non-Ferrous Weapons

Unsure if intended, or some side-effect of changes in the background but while they've always been tough to deal with using Non-Ferrous weaponry they currently seem to be immune to damage from at least Bronze completely? Are Corvites & Tainted supposed to have another material to deal with them ...

Mistral Lake: Vault and Bank - Reclaiming

Is there a specific procedure or anything to do with reclaiming items/riln that were in Mistral Lake? Gave a brief browse, and may have missed something relevant but is it simply an ongoing progress and just kind of wait for "surprise!".

Community Crate

As much as I *loathe* community crates and how funky people get with them, any chance we can get one for the Outpost?

If there is already one present, and I've missed it, I do apologize. I realize there is the old clothing bin, I feel like that is very niche.

Re: Inn Rooms: Renting Rooms

Pretty much! You can only do one day at a time, and also can't do beyond the 7 days. I'd like to see the ability to rent multiple days at a time, but also have them stomp their foot down at beyond 7. Fluff it however you want. There should be some availability in game as to why you can't hire more, ...

Inn Rooms: Renting Rooms

Hello! Completely understand the reason why we're currently unable to rent rooms for multiple days, or for a duration beyond a point. My only suggestion is something in regards to when you rent to establish this fact for players without having to look towards outside sources. You are currently renti...

Re: Weight encumbrance now affects rerolls rather than die sides

Initial opinion is in agreement with the assessment that armor beyond the minimum is a hindrance more than anything right now, but I definitely need to take more time breaking it down. Critical damage vs Chipping away is always a hard balance to strike, but I feel like it is also prudent to mention ...

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm not sure I can see a shield/buckler available for sale in the Outpost anywhere. At least not within the General Store/Workyard stores.
