Oh man. Totally imaging a rotting corpse dressed up in an upper class waiter's outfit with bits of flesh occasionally dropping off.
"Waiter, there is one of your eyes in my soup!"

Drink Containers - Emptying them
Can we have a way to just... throw the dregs or remains of a drink away without tossing the container?

How aboooout a couple more drinks for Murky's? Rum or wine (both red) while nice, could be expanded upon!

In this case, it was a player raise inside banned territory. Someone didn't know Dorn ain't welcome round some parts due to his award winning personality.

Re: Tracking for Utasa
I don't really buy into the idea of straight up tracking in urban areas like one does in the wilderness. I always did think it would be neat to have some kind of similar purpose info-gathering ability, where you can ask the NPC crowd about who's passed through lately and they give you some general ...

Re: ESP - Emoting
I think even that would help a lot Rias.
Maybe I'm being pessimistic though, but if there is no option to emote than people are just going to keep on with *laugh* and such.

Figured that was going to be the reply, or it would already been in there. I'll stick to forging my own stuff I guess!

Any chance of some chain armor and a little more variety of weapons in the blacksmith?

ESP - Color Recognition
A way for individuals, in person, to sort of share their thoughts that allows them to change their respective Colors on ESP into the actual names. Has to be done in person, make it draining to energy. Also make it so you can remove it anywhere if you ever decide to, breaking the link. I'd say adding...

ESP - Emoting
I've notice a few people emoting on ESP. They do it in a way to try and work with the idea of ESP but would it be possible to actually put a syntax in for it? Either as a generic emote command, or allowing certain RP verbs to work with it. Cause, however well people do it... it still makes it seem.....

Re: Skill Decay
I'm just thinking if there was caps and such put in, or if duration of zero gain had effects on how much you'd have to work a skill off and so forth. It would be interesting, at least. Though I do wonder just what sort of numbers in skills are considered "ridiculous/grandfathered" consider...

I think you're looking at it in a narrow way, Skah. Depending on implementation, it could also *ensure* that grandfathering never became an issue.

Re: Skill Decay
For whatever solution ends up being implemented, it's important to remember that there's nothing more discouraging for a newbie than to hear that there are old characters on the game who have achieved heights of power that are codedly no longer possible to get. I left my last MUD when the admins se...

Re: Skill Decay
So let's say you've been training swords like crazy and get it to 500. Then you decide hafted weapons could be cool, so you put your swords away and start focusing on hafted weapons. As you do so your swords skill gets rusty, and your skill rolls with swords would be reduced the rustier it got. Lat...

Re: Skill Decay
I was actually thinking, if there was a skill cap or something put in place to represent a Master of all Trades, it would actually breath life into some very generic Abilities and could help with others. One that immediately springs to mind is a Mercenaries "Basic Weapon Training". Because...

Well, that's an interesting reply to read Rias. I hope at some point you manage to figure out the issues around it to make it work.
I didn't even consider the possible problem of tasking that Skah pointed out in his post.

Re: Skill Decay
For balance, it would need a lot more thought put into it. I'd love to see a skill cap pool, so you can't have someone who is the bee's knees for everything. For roleplay, I think it would be useful just because some people never get good at something no matter how much they dabble at something. In ...

Skill Decay
This might have been brought up before, I really can't remember but here goes.
I know skill decay isn't in the plans, fair do.
Has selective, toggle, skill decay been considered? Or selective skill freeze?
