Re: CLOK Mini Survey
The glasses probably weren't broken until they got banged around inside a lockbox being carried by a careless infested or nethrim or robber. Or got banged around during the mortal combat and/or the resulting fall of the lifeless body that ensued before the lockbox was looted from its previous owner'...

Re: ESP Q&A
A big part of the problem with ESP vs "esper" is that their pronunciation is wildly different. With ESP you pronounce each individual letter. Presumably not so with "esper" - I'd expect the letters ESP to be capitalized if they were being pronounced as their letter names. If peop...

Re: ESP Q&A
The game's owner and developer did go out of his way to point out that he didn't like it, so maybe not quite "all good." Out of sheer curiosity, can you share some of these instances of turning acronyms into non-acronym (so lowercase) verbs? I tried for a good while this morning to think o...

Re: ESP Q&A
"Laser" as you explained it is itself an acronym. It's not being further used as "laserer" or "lasering" that I've seen. GIF is also an acronym. I don't see people saying things like "I found a funny animation on the gifer", but maybe that's because I'm old. W...

Re: ESP Q&A
ESP is an acronym, which is why calling the ESP network or a pendant an "esper" (not capitalized, not an acronym) doesn't make a lot of sense. It's also not a verb, which I think is how people are treating it when they use it as "esper"? I've never been quite sure. Might just be ...

Gotta agree, kudos to Lemuel for making and maintaining this. It's helped a lot of people, and I like looking over the updates to see what new nuggets of info are in there.

Re: new guild choice: The Locksmith's Guild
If you wish to pick locks in game, currently you can only do it via a path of break-and-enter many times. You can get locksmithing up to cap without breaking and entering a single time. I would like to propose that it be possible to role play someone who was trained in locksmithing, and only in tha...

Re: Better name for chain mail foot armor.
Chain foot armor always make me think of something like this:
Which I could absolutely see Kent wearing.
(For VI folks: The picture is of a foot cozily ensconced in what appears to be something like a chainmail sock.)

Re: Deus Ex Magica flintlockina
Why magic guns when you can already throw fireballs, molten boulders, and lightning bolts with your mind? I'm guessing the answer is "for style", which I get. But I don't know if magic blazing guns strikes me as the scholarly Elemancer style. I mean, I'd ask them the same thing: Why are yo...

Yeah, those benefits both sound more like the kind of unintended side effects the devs would want to patch once they realized they were there.

Re: CLOK Wolverine not really tough enough
We could say that wolverines in CLOK have extremely durable skeletons and have three extra-long and sharp claws on each forepaw. To give them that extra toughness we're really after, let's also say they heal extremely quickly.

Re: A fun game: Guess That CLOK Character
Nope. Hint: That's supposed to be a horse, not a donkey. Blame my lack of art skills. Some people thought it was some kind of dog (with a mane and hooves?). Hint 2: There's a reason it looks so small compared to its rider.the guy on the donkey is kent
Also, it's someone else's turn to draw.
