Re: Take that, you stinkin criminal!
He still has stuff, most likely a lot. He only spoke about losing what one carries(a common mud death penalty). Lesson is, only leave with what you are willing to lose, nothing more.
Re: Aeromancy
Flares are not taught from the college, that is innate to channeling. If a breeze is making you carve faster, you will cut into the wood faster, but you lose accuracy and precision of your craft. So yes, you remove -1RT while increasing the difficulty of the roll by 100% if not more. Seeing as this ...
Re: Aeromancy
As to my understand, Elemancy is not meant to directly enhance physical combat as it is not something the College would teach.

I would like to be one of the first here to congratulate both of you and hope for a at least a few nights where you can sleep the whole night in the up coming weeks!
Re: How?
Lysse is correct. Elemancer are actually incapable of manipulating the elements. The elemental effects generated by a Elemancer are born from the Elemancer's will alone, because of this, once their will wavers, their elemental displays disappear utterly unless they mix with something stagnate. An El...

Re: Wanted Posters
One of the issues I had with the Landion-era disruptions is that it didn't have a clear goal for the Outpost, in short what there was to gain form the terrible losses. It was nice with the Pre-Outpost disruption as they had a real reasoning and purposes. Any ways, wasn't the last disruption Nether f...

Re: Wanted Posters
The killboards might of been edited from when you first thought them up, they directly say Kill these people on sight.. Nothing about a reward for bringing them in, no reason to interact with them from the stance of going out of one's way to find them other than to murder them. If you would like my ...

Re: Wanted Posters
Kill freely though remember, wanted posters is less about killing for the sake of killing but bringing in for a reward. If you kill for a wanted poster just because they are wanted and not try to collect the reward, that should be seen as little more than griefing and not bounty hunting. Kill orders...

Re: Lore Week III!
Lightning is not something so meek to stun a target. It is better used killing someone out right, I have not has as much success with the channel as some others it seems, I'll stick with hurling flaming stone chunks at people. Bout as effective.

Re: Lore Week III!
While Elemancers can produce steam, or even raw lightning at will, it has been said they have not and will likely never focus on blending the practice into mechanical or mundane uses.

I would like to know more about Shadgard's origins. How was it started, also would like to know how it relates to the iron wall barrier. Was it there before the town was or was the town there and then the wall placed? How did the Wyr react to a group settling in that did not respect their ways or we...

Re: suggestion: energy status changes
I would only like energy to be changed if this would also result in how you read damage taken to be altered. Both energy and physical wounds are types of damage, especially from a Rook's and Hydromancer's PoV.

Re: Firearms discussion
Armor was rendered obsolete by firearms. I thought everyone knew this. Do you cite anything to show otherwise? I suppose cannons may have eliminated armor. I'll look into it. Even using Wikipedia's sections on Armour disagrees with your stance. Though for more detail you should look into metmuseum,...

Re: Firearms discussion
Vertebrate, you make a few interesting claims about armour verses firearms. Could you cite your sources? I will start from the beginning of your comments. Flint lock pistols while easy to use, and moderately accurate on non moving targets within five to seven feet were very poor to use against a tar...

Could the wiki as well as the in game information for this ability be updated? With the change of how Cryomancy is gained as a Rook, as well as how the ability is activated, it is a little confusing.

Re: Concerning Non-Combat Skillgains
Alpha is alpha. Mechanics will be added and later rebalanced. The main guild talking about such, Elemancers, was never intended to be a murderers guild which they currently are. The reason the focus is more on the Elemancers rather than the Rooks was simple in a way, the Elemancer guild existed befo...
