Re: Regarding the Festival Auction
Responding to Sona: I've noticed of late there has been a culture of responding to someone else's loss with, "That doesn't bother me, that's no big deal", with the implication that since it doesn't bother me, then you shouldn't be bothered by it, either. Not only Sona here, but others have...

requests for items currently not sold in Haiban
Haiban, being the wealthiest and the merchant-iest town in the Lost Lands can leave characters surprised when they go looking to purchase certain staples there which are no where to be found. I've tried to make a complete list of these items that one has to travel to another town to pick up, plus a ...

Re: CLOK Mini Survey
Hi guys, I remember back when I started playing a decade ago (assuming I am remembering correctly), when you found some sort of metal -bar in a box, there was a tiny chance of that -bar being of cobalt. Having had many boxes opened over the past years and finding many thousands of -bars of copper, b...

Re: New pounce ability
I didn't start out this thread looking for a pun opportunity. However, it has to be said that most of the Dwaedn players I encountered in the past would have said to me: "Pounce on a foe from hiding like a cougar?! That style of fighting is for.... pussies!"

New pounce ability
I don't play a Dwaedn, but my comment on this new cougar pounce from hiding ability is that it brings in an unexpected role-play shift to the game for this class. I could expect that some attack from hiding ability might be added in to the repetoir of the assassin's or thieve's guild or the like. P...

Having lodged projectiles show up when you "health" someone
As it is, you have to LOOK at someone to find out if they have any arrows, knives, gun shot, slung stones, etc. lodged in their body and needing REMOVing. Doesn't show up under health. Master Artisan Locke says, "We've received word that an associate in Shadgard just can't manage to find a single copper-bar to purchase. Bring 90 pounds of them to the market in Shadgard and sell them to the associate there." This could take the record for the unlikeliest tale ever told i...

Suggestion: Shock damage for metal weapon parry vs Oricalcum
I would like to recommend that shock damage be incurred if a character parries an oricalcum weapon with his metal blade, or blocks an oricalcum weapon with his metal shield.

What's with all the frequent lag spikes lately?
So the game experience is now characterized by very regular hang-ups of lag? What's begun recently to cause this? It's rather frustrating.
Someone told me the game lags every time someone logs in, but as a player, I have no way to know if that is the case or not.

Stomach growling audible for other characters
Currently if you're really hungry, you can hear your stomach growl but no one else can. I have two requests, one easy to add in to the current game, one more complex and would take some coding: Easy: It would be more realistic if it were possible to hear someone else's stomach growling also. It coul...

You got one tough neck, playa.
But is that a typical outcome for a serious neck injury, or were you unusually blessed, like those rare people you hear about walking away from high-speed car accidents?

Necks are too tough
Even though I've been playing for years, I am just learning some things about the game. For example, today I hit a brigand in the neck for 99 damage and he lived. I take it necks take as much as 100 damage. It doesn't seem right that a neck can withstand the same injury that a chest can, doesn't mak...

Re: wear armor rack
I have never found it to work with armor racks, no.
I currently find the armor rack is good only to display my seldom-worn heavy armors.
I think to fix it they would have to change the armor rack to something the armor is "in" codewise, instead of something the armor is "on".

It sure would be nice if we could craft some shot in the forge for slings, pretty please.
Plan B would be to allow the current firearm shot to be usable in slings as well.

Different default colour for ESP
I was wondering, in the case of the default colour for the anonymous ESP user being "gray" if it could be something else, dissimilar to other colors? The reason I ask is because sometimes people talk to others on ESP, and refer to one another by a shortened version of their color, for exam...

Re: Calling All Blacksmiths!
Neat thought: You can make a forging hammer with a forging hammer and a pair of tongs with a pair of tongs. In fact, many blacksmiths will make custom tongs for different projects or modify the ones they have to suit their current project. Someday soon IRL, someone is going to figure out how to use...

Being able to ignore someone by Nickname
So the problem is, someone is going on and on using the Chat channel, and I don't want to read their lengthy conversation, but I cannot use the ignore command on them because it will only work if I know which character they are logged in with. I would like to be able to turn off one or two user's ch...

fur armor that's tougher than leather
Leather armor does so little for you currently in game. The only fur armor we have is of identical protection as this leather. Have you ever handled fur? If you wrapped yourself in a bearskin rug or wore a mink coat and then someone hit you with a baseball bat, it would soften the blow a lot more th...

If this is the case, I would suggest making adult be the youngest option available to remove confusion from this arbitrary rule. The other options, by definition, indicate that there are teenagers and children. I have to agree with this. We indeed should start with "Adult" as the first ch...

Phasing out confusingly similar ESP colors
I think it would be better for all of us if the ESP colors were culled of one of a pair of colors that are so similar as to cause confusion.
Two examples would be
Silver-Blue and Blue-Silver
Clay and Clay-Red
Thank you for your consideration.
