Re: Tasks based on skill level, NPC/world lore, and World Ev
Presentation really can make all the difference. Phrases like Thus, the following should make all task and NPCs better. are probably losing you sympathy points right from the start. Something like "Here are some suggestions that I think could help tasks and NPCs feel a little more interesting&q...

The Dwaedn Wyr originated on the Faewyr's home continent of Tyr-Gwyrd long, long ago.
Wait for the Jirato Seal of Approval before running with this, since he's Head Guy.

Shadgard and Utasa
Q: Why the Shadgard hostility toward Utasa? (a question someone asked on chat/Discord) A: Due to a number of incidents in the past, the general Shadgard public opinion is that Utasa are nosey spies always getting into other peoples' business, and sometimes worse. A lot of this developed when Gunther...

Re: Dwaedn Wyr information
With Jirato's permission, I added two brief sections to the wiki article regarding martial taboos of the Dwaedn Wyr as well as their unique flavor of non-channeled druidism. Hopefully this clarifies a bit more on which martial practices are considered unacceptable to Dwaedn and which aren't, and tha...

Re: New elemancer here, questions and ideas.
Pssst ... I still lurk around here, and I asked if I could step in for this one. Hope nobody minds the has-been chipping in on this topic. Do the books in the library do anything? I saw rows of books, but there’s nothing in them. If you mean library and not the store, then no. It only serves as a so...

Re: Chants without Words
Or for chanting in a different language, maybe? /risefromthesands The chants are only in one "language", and it's not any spoken language that anyone uses. The "words" of the chant have to be pronounced just right, and at just the right pitch, in addition to the mental/willpower...

Re: Personal thoughts on the Wyrvardn
I think Wyr should (Dramatic Lore Nitpicker entry!) "Wyr" is just the Faewyr word for "people". Faewyr, Dunwyr, Dwaedn Wyr, Wyrvardn, and so many more. When you shorten it to just "Wyr" it's easy to confuse with any of the other cases. I know there's obvious context in...

As Vitello mentioned, Jirato is leading things now. I don't have any authority around here, so I wouldn't feel comfortable answering as though I did.

Re: The (nonexistance of) Lore Surrounding the Immortals
I designed the Immortals as vague and unsure on purpose. It was by design that nobody knew for sure if they were actually a thing, or what about them was truth and what was fiction. (See: Religion) What I was always very strict about was the game's reality adhering to lore. People could believe what...

Re: Written Stories & Tales
I forgot a big one: Q: Are the Undying still a thing in the stories? A: No. I dislike deaths-that-aren't-deaths in stories (and movies, and pretty much anything that isn't a game in which such a silly thing is required for gameplay purposes). I can't wait to read some material. When do start?? Then ...

Re: Written Stories & Tales
Well, in my head one of the biggest events of recent history was that Battle against the Proud Rabble in Ebon Pass. In my head, it was this huge battle, with arrows everywhere, blood, men screaming and dying. Feel up to trying a short story about that? This happened either after I had left, or whil...

Written Stories & Tales
I've put a huge amount of effort into creating the world in which CLOK takes place, and now that I'm no longer involved in the game, I need another outlet to help this world in my mind exist in some greater capacity. I've got a bunch of ideas for short stories that can occur in the world, and I've e...

As you all may or may not recall, my return to CLOK GMhood was always intended to be a temporary thing to fill in for the lack of GMs at the time. I believe I've reached the end of that temporaryarity, now that we have two new great GMs to help CLOK be awesome and amazing. I have a few promises to k...

The figurines of the Immortals are rare treasure finds. I think making them commonly carvable would sort of ruin that.

Thanks and kudos to the people whom got involved in this little mini-quest! It was designed to specifically be a smaller-time event line, but more than just a one-nighter. Re: Cache of questions
Are travel rations made from... people?!? Depends on where you buy them. What is common knowledge regarding major taints? That they're more tainted than "minor taints"? I don't think people think of it quite so tier-like. Most people probably think of people in 3 stages: 1. Untainted. 2. ...

Re: Discussion on how we do what we do.
Maybe the text could be changed for those guilds to "Go out and test/prove yourself against this critter" or something (or they could just be taken out, I'd be fine with that too). But this discussion should be moved to a different thread.
