Re: Fireboards and spindles

I believe you need a spindle, a fireboard, and tinder in your backpack. Then you use the light verb as you would as if it were a firestones.

Re: i cannot connect to my account with /login --login or the connect command

There's a new account system. You need to create a unique account to associate with you. You can retrieve legacy characters inside your newly created account. An account is NOT your character, you can think of it like a folder with your characters being files inside.

Craftmarks on poultices

We're running into a bit of a small problem in game where people are selling useless poultices as if they were actual poultices. And I have no problems with that, but it would help us develop an economy/branding system if poultices had craftmarks to identify who made them. Would it be possible to en...

Re: Animate minion commands suggestion

I appreciate the response, Noctere! That is a fascinating behind the scenes tidbit, and I was thinking that it might be too much power to the player for the potential for abuse as well. Still, I figured asking didn't hurt! I do appreciate the recent changes in regards to love a lot, and I know there...

I've been hearing about a strong amount of interest from players that I talk to since returning, so I am bumping this stickied post so people are aware of what to do to join the Church of Light or to get on Jirato's radar.

Treefelling related accidents

Hi y'all, I wanted to ask if treefelling accident rates be reviewed. I've got over 1000 logging and all 3 artisanal lumbering abilities, but one in every 5 trees falls down and hits me or an ally in the room. I'm not sure if it's because RNG hates me or not, but it's distressing to say the least. Wi...

examine age of trees

It would be nice if survey plants or a new command was put together to allow a player to examine a grove of trees for the oldest tree so we could gather some information in advance of felling a tree. At the moment the only way to determine tree size is to fell it, I think.

hiresword washing

I'm not allowed into certain establishments because the artisan's hiresword can't be cleaned. It would be nice if we had a way to clean our expensive hireswords so we can go into eating establishments.

Minor Taming feedback and requests

Hi y'all, just wanted to give some feedback on a favorite spell of mine, the druidry spell Minor Taming. There are some limitations built into the spell and I thought that with recent changes to another follower AI that I'd bring up some minor feedback about the spell. 1. Tamed creatures will not fo...

Combat Brief

Some time ago in the options shuffle we lost options combat brief, a game-sided way to reduce wordiness of combat. Is there any chance we could get that back?

Re: Animate minion commands suggestion

If starting any syntax with 'minion' returned information as if you were issuing the command from within the minion. E.G. 'minion glance' would return information about what's in the minions hands, 'minion swap' would swap the minions hands around. It might be too much flexibility but it was a thoug...

Piggybacking the animate minion commands suggestion thread, If it wouldn't be too much trouble, being able to parse commands through "minion" as if we were doing it from the minion perspective would be nice.

Appreciation post

I just wanted to appreciate all the work put into Rook Parlour recently. To add more variety and options to Rook Animates the formula used to calculate their skills upon animation has been completely redone. Now Rooks can give a portion of their knowledge to their creation to enhance their skills, m...

Can we get a lift?

It would be nice if we could take a lift to move handcarts up to the second floor of Mistral so we can more directly get to the laboratory. Can we get a lift? I don't mind paying for use.

It would be a cool functionality of armor racks if we could "wear armor rack" to equip the armor on the rack quickly instead of typing it all at once, like a reverse strip.

I'll preface this with "I'm just really glad to have the ability back, at all." after having finally achieved the necessary requirements to get it. I do think that the ability to cast it on a persons worn armor all at once would be nice. I'd also appreciate if we could target others as wel...

A better party system

I think that the current group code is great, but with a lot of shortcomings. I'd like to see if party code got reworked so that people could create a party and invite people into it without using join. A lot of spells, such as minor haunting, nova, dwaedn roars, templar chants, all rely on the part...

I think a new fantasy critter that gives higher warmth leathers for crafting scale-tier armor would be nice. I think there's a lot to say for mystical properties of critters armor pieces, see: rakkan, etc.

I think that would be pretty good. Like a hidden timer after dying once for a few hours if you die again you begin to feel your thoughts move more sluggish and have restricted skillgains for a visible timer to encourage people to remain in town for a bit.

Charging up a single element

I was playing around with elemancy and cryomancy recently (separately, sadly) and realized that elements are pretty immediate - you channel something and immediately it's out at full power. I think it'd be cool if opening a new single element channel started you off with a low maximum damage, but th...

Return of the hyra slave drivers

Many years ago, Stone Canyon was bustling with Hyra activity - from slave drivers and their slaves in the mines to other parts I'd not seen before. A few years ago, there came the surge of nethrim activity in Thaelsh that placed all kinds of new spectral entities in places outside of the regular ski...
