Rats.
Rats of unusual size.
Vicious rats.
We've got a lot of food and people clustered in town, there ought to be an overrun warehouse full of respawning rats people can skin for tails and skins to practice skinning and leather on at the low end.

Re: Suggestions and Observations: Dreadnought
Ela, on follow-up attack weapons seeing outsized damage, my shields on my Guardian also see an overwhelming amount of damage but it's something I had been willing to accept. Though, I did see the supply of maple shields is limited now so I'm mildly terrified at the prospect of not having a cheap ...

Re: Do Good Samaritan protections exist?
Thanks, Rias, for the vote of confidence. I was thinking about it on a walk today and realized there are certainly some past traumas that I need to overcome!
What you said lines up with my expectations entirely. I worried about stray fire coming when I don't have impure intentions.

Do Good Samaritan protections exist?
On the network today, someone asked for help with either money or watching something for them, and I walked over there with a chunk of money to help them out.
Over the next 10-20 seconds, things happened very quickly. They fled the room, leaving me with a hostile mob, and then an angry templar rode ...

Re: High Skill Characters and Loot
I was saying this in chat, but adding tasks that help emulate daily living would be good. The cooking tasks in cogg were an example of simulated life tasks that I adored. I would probably recommend adding an energy cost to dissuade endless botting.

Can the OOC Lounge, Lobby Cavern be a gathering spot?
I've been on the shelf a lot more because, uh, reasons. It would be cool if this room was designated as a gathering spot so I wouldn't lose morale when fiddling with my OOC toys. Thanks!

Re: Fancy old metals
After a recent internal discussion, we decided to add some more fantasy-ish metals with magical properties to help broaden the choices from riversteel bloodglass, celestium, and nethrium.
Both new metals have a bonus, and a slight penalty...

Suggestion: Slight improvement to Weapon Focus (Rank 3)
Good evening fellow players and staff.
I noticed that putting 3 points into Weapon Focus: Sword only gave me a 0.6 bonus to my attacks with my sword. I would appreciate it if investing my limited ability points so many times into this ability would round my partial rerolls to a total of 1.0 (0.3 ...

I need reminders about the Gunther thing, it's an active questline in my DND game. Please remind me.
Also, do you think Mayor Gunther was into the same gender? My players need to know.

Re: Help requested: Gathering information on Tse Gaiyan
Couple of tee gaiyan stuff I remember:
Banned from Shadgard for suspected espionage activities, safe houses raided. This was eventually moved past.
Someone brought infested corpses into their home resulting in their home being burned down to control a potential spread

I was wondering why I didn't seem to be gaining meditation from the brief encounters with swamp zombies I met!

Is Corvus Outpost considered a supported town?
Hey guys! I was just curious with the recent changes if Corvus Outpost is considered to be a "supported" town in terms of dev-time and attention, or if we're still sort of in a limbo state. I remember hearing that the intent was to scope down to Shadgard as the main town, but there's a good half ...

I think everything aligns with my expectations for the world of Arad already. That being said, with the design philosophy so stated, should we anticipate to kind of always be one step behind in terms of player power on an individual basis versus the common foe (like with the current ability ...

Yup! Of course I don't want to judge the state of armor while it's still clearly work in progress, but I did run into my odd situation and just wanted to provide feedback or to get some clarity on the specific situation. Rias did say things were still fiddly with numbers after all.

Re: Weight encumbrance now affects rerolls rather than die sides
Hi! I've been doing a lot of combat training recently and I noticed that full leather armor can penalize dodge with half to 1.5x reroll penalties. Since the new battle system demands that we wear armor or die, it would be nice if the reroll reduction was given a bit more flex so we can at least wear ...

Sceptus Corvus lives!!1!
Sceptus Corvus is not dead - nay, he is recovering his power as we speak. Why do you think they never renamed the Corvus Outpost? No, his minions scheme even still, gathering power so when he returns he will ascend once again to claim dominion over the lands. We never saw his body - he isn't dead ...

Re: i cannot connect to my account with /login --login or the connect command
There's a new account system. You need to create a unique account to associate with you. You can retrieve legacy characters inside your newly created account. An account is NOT your character, you can think of it like a folder with your characters being files inside.

Craftmarks on poultices
We're running into a bit of a small problem in game where people are selling useless poultices as if they were actual poultices. And I have no problems with that, but it would help us develop an economy/branding system if poultices had craftmarks to identify who made them. Would it be possible to ...
