Oh man, I'm so sorry. Losing any pet is always devastating. I can't imagine what you're going through losing not only your beloved companion, but also your trusted guide. If you ever need to talk, feel free to reach out on Discord or here via PM. Please take care of yourself.

Re: Everburning braziers
Thanks for looking into this and offering compensation. I'm curious though... does this count the braziers that are more GM set up and immovable like certain ones in Shadgard for keeping warm in the commons or right outside the canyon entrance? What if someone uses one in their personal home for war...

Chit Chat and Debates
Thanks for all the RP tonight everyone, and I do mean everyone. What's an evening without a little drama and conflicting opinions? I hope everyone had fun, remembers that it's all IC, and can agree to appreciate what we all bring to the game. Nice to see so many older faces returning lately as well ...

Re: new guild choice: The Locksmith's Guild
I'll clarify my statement as it was not meant to be counter intuitive. I was more trying to be practical about it IF this goes into consideration. Since locksmithing seems to be engineering related (earliest locks being wooden or mechanics based and typically the skill requiring an apprenticeship) a...

Re: new guild choice: The Locksmith's Guild
How do we know Old Lews isn't pulling a fast one and his certificates are all fakes? Maybe the only locksmiths ARE the shady ones and they just pose as legitimate ;) I do think having a non-thief or Utasa means of learning lockpicking might be nice, but I don't know that there's enough to it for a w...

Re: Haunting Task
I think the problem is that the mobs sometimes spawn in groups of 6-8 which then puts in surround mechanics and drops your defensive roll instantly. If you miss your first hit in those cases you can very easily be overwhelmed no matter what your skill is. Since they're all non-corporeals, it's very ...

Celestium and Relic
The following is not about a current or upcoming event, but about a series of past ones. Sorry in advance if that is misleading. So, a while back now (about two years ago) there was a merchant event with a GM run blacksmith. My character, having an interest in repairing an artifact/relic found years...

Thanks to everyone who participated tonight in the gathering at the Hearth and Home and other locations. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did learning more about each other and our views on various topics. I look forward to interacting with your characters more in the future.

Re: Knights of the Wyrvardn
I don't think I missed the point of what was stated, but it might have been better to specify that you meant Common language and not common usage if that was your goal. Either way my statements still apply. I'm saying that it's probably a word - like Dwaedn or other similar Faewyr words - that is so...

Re: Knights of the Wyrvardn
Why do they need another name? Wyrvardn is a title in itself. Saying Guardian Wyrvardn would be a little redundant. I guess I see it as one of those foreign language words that through common usage makes it into another language's normal vernacular. So Wyrvardn should be understood by those who spea...

Re: Knights of the Wyrvardn
Yay Wyrvardn meeting! Honest question - why do people keep calling them knights? The title is in the name. Guardians of the people! I'm pretty sure they're not actually knighted in any technical sense.

Re: Winter in Mistral
Mistral Lake and the surrounding area usually has pretty mild weather. Hey Alila, The quote above is from another thread, but the basic answer (unless something changed) is: probably not. I don't think it's a silly or ignorant question. It's entirely possible for lakes as big as Mistral to freeze g...

Time Out for My Crew
Hey guys, Sorry for my absence lately. I've been really busy the last few weeks and with the end of the year approaching that's not likely to change. I'm still lurking on the forums and most of my characters have mail notifications on so if you need to reach me for anything IC, please feel free to p...

Re: A Dreaded List of Questions Thread
Also Rhuidim didn't used to have a 2nd language at all. It got added in later (kind of retconned into character creation) and Nuum was used instead of Rhuidic or whatever their actual language is at that time. So I'm not sure if it's just a placeholder or actually what it is supposed to be. It could...

Re: A Dreaded List of Questions Thread
I'm not going to step in too much on this, but we can discuss in discord if you like. I will however point you to a single line on the wiki that might help with why no one knows anything about the Angawatu: Nilbindu is a continent southwest of Arad, populated by the Angawatu peoples. https://clok.co...

Re: Animation Storage Options
Kinda related - kinda not, but would it be possible to have a "minion hide" command added? This would be to order corporeals to hide in the shadows. They could still be detected with perception, unlike with "minion fade". I think this would be a really useful addition if you need...

Re: Died due to moving...
I've reported this issue before as well. It's because you're leading a horse pulling a wagon that's probably full of stuff and it transfers the energy loss to you instead of the horse. Easiest fix for now is to ride the horse instead of leading it. Sorry you died though :/

Re: Repairing
Ok, so if there's a chance to degrade that should be clarified in-game somewhere I would think. So people know what to expect. The wording in my previous quote seems to imply there is no degradation which is why I've been asking for a more detailed answer. Also, sorry about the pricing on that Kent ...

Re: Repairing
The NPC part was never very clear (to me at least), so I wanted to make sure I'm understanding it right: If an NPC repairs the item: No change, but need to wait 24 hours (This is subject to change and probably will degrade weapons at some point in the future we do not want any weapon or armor to be ...

Re: Repairing
With recent changes to forging mechanics I figure I may as well bump this again and see if we can get some information on how repairs work - especially when it comes to NPC repairs - though an update on if anything changed with PC repairs would be nice as well. The description earlier in this thread...

Re: Shadgard blacksmith pricing tweak
I believe the original reason the pricing was so high is because Shadgard specializes in copper and steel/iron items are considered imports, but that does seem like a large gap. Then again, Haiban came way after and it's possible its prices are just low :P Curious to see how this turns out.
