Re: Under new management - what do Corvites need?

A few things that could potentially be added or looked into:
Display cases for the carpentry shop. (Because what Corvite doesn't want to show off?)
Additional warm clothing options (gloves, hats, scarves, general material warmer types).

Re: Containers for Huge Items

Thank you for the response and clarifying the use of those crates. I'll message you about the questions. I would think similar to a weapon rack capacity of about 5-6 would be good though if you consider one of each type or dual wielding options and rotation. Not to mention tools people use for profe...

Re: Containers for Huge Items

I have asked about this sort of thing ICly before. If things change and there's no public announcement, how are we to know to ask such things again? Or maybe there was and I merely missed it. However, I appreciate the quick update and will check ICly next time I'm able. It would be helpful to know w...

Re: Containers for Huge Items

I've decided to bump this for potential re-viewing and additional comments from current player-base in the hopes a workaround might be found. I definitely appreciate the concern about hoarding, but I still struggle with organization of these items in-home and bank vaults aren't always an ideal solut...

Unmarked Grave

I just wanted to post a thanks to the staff and players who made last night's event so special. There was a lot of chaos and death, but there was also a great deal of teamwork and together we were able to uncover something fun. I appreciated that the event was built as a puzzle and that we had to wo...

Re: Marriage traditions

I made it up, Artus. Was just being silly. Please do not take those seriously. :)

That said, I hope other people post their ideas about what the real traditions might be or that we can get some official lore from the GMs.

Re: Marriage traditions

Marriage Traditions (By Race): Faewyr: Being a very proud and druidic people who respect their ancestors, the Faewyr traditions are sacred with no room for improvisation. First, the person seeking marriage must win the acceptance of the tribe through a series of tests meant to prove his or her phys...

Re: Think dangerously

Cool thoughts. We actually had a pretty decent discussion about attack crowd a few years back but nothing came of it. If you want to see some of the viewpoints from back then, here's the thread: http://bbs.contrarium.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3929 I think for the seek trainer idea it might be more...

Re: Deathly Masquerade Ball and Harvest Gathering

Hey all! Thanks to the players and GMs who worked on the Ball last month and for all your participation. I just wanted to say I'm not going to be heading up the 2nd half of this - the Harvest Gathering. I've been way too busy with stuff. If anyone else wants to take charge, have at it, but otherwise...

Just adding this here: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=1556

I knew there were two of these. Some stuff in that other thread isn't in this one so if you're curious about names, review both and you might find what you're looking for.

I don't generally post my alts, but since most people can guess these two and they still come up in conversation sometimes:

Remember that the Deathly Masquerade Ball is on Saturday. All are welcome (unless you're banned from Haiban and then - NO REMORSE). But seriously, I hope to see you all there :)

Re: Deathly Masquerade Ball and Harvest Gathering

Just sending a reminder that the Deathly Masquerade Ball is happening on the 27th which is less than 2 weeks away. If you still need a costume or mask, you can find pre-made ones at the Octum Festival or send requests for custom items per the GM requests here: Costumes: http://bbs.contrarium.net/vie...

Re: Deathly Masquerade Ball and Harvest Gathering

Just a heads up - the planning for the Deathly Masquerade Ball is going really well. Thanks to the GMs for your support and the players for offering to help out with things. Everyone's enthusiasm is really getting me excited about this. I'll try to remember to post an update in-game but at this time...

Re: Events Planning

I know people have done things in the past to help specific causes: - Charity Ball (could be a per-plate kind of entrance fee or minimum donation to attend or just pay as you're able) - Charity Auction (player crafted items donated toward a cause) Drives - These are really easy to run and super info...

Re: Deathly Masquerade Ball and Harvest Gathering

I would absolutely love any GM goodness you want to throw at this. Merchants for custom costumes/masks is probably the most important. I know there are pre-made ones, but sometimes people want unique stuff for a certain idea or theme. Making sure there's a food station in the ballroom area (this is ...

Other ideas: Cooking demonstration Farming demonstration and Co-Op Pumpkin carving (GMs have done this in the past as submissions for an NPC carver, but it can always just be ritual/rp'd) Snowman building (this has been done before and was pretty fun) Tributes to Immortals Poetry contest Singing con...

Deathly Masquerade Ball and Harvest Gathering

Hey all, I know, it's still incredibly early to be thinking about Halloween/Thanksgiving type stuff. However, I'd like to get the ball (pun intended) rolling on this year's potential player-run events to celebrate the Deathly Masquerade Ball but also a less formal Harvest Gathering. I'm thinking for...

Re: Armour Racks

This would be a great addition. Saeda has 2 sets of armor she rotates through to account for repairs and they don't currently fit easily in the trunk when both are off for formal events. If not permanently added to dorms, then perhaps being given the option to purchase a non-janitored armor rack wit...

Meat from Critters

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere and I missed it. I noticed today that while a raccoon can give up to 3 meats, a peccary can only give up to 2. I find it odd since I would think the small wild pig would give more in comparison. I don't know if the meats are more or less filling than each other and ...
