But it sounds like it doesn't completely prevent vision, which means that some light is coming through.

It occurs to me that it would be funny to see a Wavebender dispel the effect after the target casts Nether Vision.

Not an ability, but something akin to the Elemancy books for Druidry (Druidic scrolls?) at the cost of recognition points. While there are Druidry trainers in two of the three major towns, Udemi seems like the guild that's most likely to spend extended periods of time without returning to ANY town.

Probably not, they didn't even add the current one until after the most recent Wilderness expansion. That and everything you can learn from the compass right now is stuff you could find out without leaving your square.
