Re: PC-to-NPC relations!
Personally, I prefer when people use the request tool (if they do so descriptively) instead of the think command. I feel thinks shouldn't be used as a way to try to get GM attention, but instead as a way to show a character's inner thoughts on a situation or as an RP tool to keep people in character.

Fun Fact: I play this song during every combat event.

Re: Razing Emleth
The problem with that is GMs don't know how long a plot will take, or even an event. An event that was supposed to take an hour and be neatly resolved can be screwed up so unexpectedly that there are far-reaching consequences, or characters can respond in ways we didn't anticipate and open up new av...

Re: several things that should really have in clok
4. This feature seems to be the least important one in the bunch for me. It's about the numbers. Instead of putting "second, third" nd so on, for those who...well, not to say but not really good at English but still want to play, what about doing like some muds, "get 2.corpse, kill 3...

Re: CHAT Channel to be Removed
I was surprised at how many of you fell for it, especially with how much we GMs enjoy messing with your titles and bantering over CHAT. We have no plans to get rid of it and occasion enjoy it ourselves, when it doesn't get out of hand.
Letting it carry over a little longer was just to scare you. :)

Re: Ancient Valley Released!
Let me make a note that these are not dinosaurs, but CLOK-specific reptilian creatures. Unfortunately, the ones within the valley are too wild to act as mounts.

CHAT Channel to be Removed
Silliness aside, recent discussion has got us talking about the pros and cons of having a global OOC chat channel. As we're attempting to move the game in a more serious and focused direction, we've decided that the CHAT channel no longer fits the environment we'd like to foster and will be removing...

Ancient Valley Released!
Great reptilian creatures have been discovered deep within a valley long hidden from human eyes. Test your might against terrifying tyrannos, armored ankylos, scary stegos, and many other brand new mobs! They offer an alternative way to get scales for leathercrafting without having to take on a drak...

Re: Introducing Milo!
Thank you everyone for attending. The success of this merchant means I'll bring him back sometime later, so keep future requests in mind! If you missed him today and would still like something, feel free to send an NPCmail to Milo and I'll see what I can do for you.

Just a reminder that this is today at 1PM server time (2PM CST)! You can find him in the Tavern area of the Brawler's Retreat, along the road west of Haiban.

Introducing Milo!
Collector, Vagabond, Treasure Hunter, Highwayman. Milo has been called many things in the past. Rumor has it he's rented a room at the Brawler's Retreat for awhile, lugging with him a cart of his findings. Have you lost something? A keepsake, heirloom, or something else of sentimental value? Perhaps...

Seconded! Garith has made amazing progress in the last few months and is truly building up a character. He tries very hard to improve himself and not only skill-wise, and really sticks to his guns. Keep at it, Garith!

Re: Newbie Areas
That area isn't intended to be a newbie training area. It's simply a flavor area.
That said, the frog legs are now skinnable and cookable, much as crab legs are.

The one thing I dislike about this suggestion is it would encourage getting 'drawbacks' that aren't really drawbacks, like unattuned for a non-magic-user, etc. In the same vein, taking perks that don't make sense to your character, just because they're the 'best'. I do like the idea of individualizi...
