Re: University Stairway, Aero Jumps, HydroGeo Tram!

Can we please, please, please please please PLEEEEEEEEASE find a solution to access problem even if it's just carving out a regular old stairway? I hate going to the University anymore because it's such a hassle, and I'm sure it's not doing any good for the elemancer population.

Re: Dissipation inconsistencies, and a compromise

If we want to be sticklers it could require an extra ability. Infusion Pattern: Infuse extra structure and energy into a conjuration, allowing conjured elements to remain for a few moments after a casting. Without it, the things like lava and acid and boiling water wouldn't do damage over time, mud ...

Dissipation inconsistencies, and a compromise

I am taking a risk here, but here goes... There are dissipation inconsistencies with elemancy. Freezing water was nerfed so that it no longer freezes enemies in ice because of this law that elements dissipate. Hitting people with hydro casts also does not leave them drenched, same reason. But mud ca...

Re: More chapters!

Mistral doesn't have a chapter, just Hampton lounging at the inn. I always took him for a retired hydromancer rather than an active professor or teacher. Shadgard's is pretty cool with the wind chamber but it's just one room with Olivia who teaches aeromancy and none of the other elements. I probabl...

Sorry! I keep forgetting how much trouble relationships can be. Sometimes I just can't resist letting my guard down and getting into another one, and before you know it your life isn't your own anymore!

Over the rails

I have a feature request for Mistral Lake: If you send someone flying and you're at the water's edge, there should be a chance for them to land in the lake!

Re: Spellcasting Specialization Suggestions

Well if you want to be doing a lot of damage you shouldn't be using air anyway, right? That's like using a walking stick and complaining it's not comparable to a greatsword. I see air as the utility branch of elemancy, it has the indispensable Aero Jump, and Aero Nova is great for knocking down a wh...

Shattered Pumpkin fun

Shout out to the people that were at the Shattered Pumpkin last night! It was just a routine request for a locksmith and turned into a small gathering and some good conversation. Sorry if I get some of the name spellings wrong:

Svoross
Jisua
Tirya
Seluhn

University Stairway, Aero Jumps, HydroGeo Tram!

It's been a long time since the aero lift shut down. Can we put some of that money we pay for tuition, textbooks, lessons, and everything else to use by putting in an easy to navigate stairway leading up to the University, instead of this mountain climbing method? If the problem with the aero lift i...

Re: More chapters!

We have a building in Haiban, but only one NPC and they don't teach hydromancy. I mastered Hydro and can't learn from the textbooks anymore. Can we please get some NPCs to teach the different elements in Haiban so masters don't have to go all the way back to the University just to get training? The ...

Coastal Cliffs

This is my favorite area in the whole game. I would live here if I could, if only I could sell things and store my money closer than Haiban... anyway, I'm very happy that it has a good array of things to hunt, but when it comes to training my elemancy I won't be able to make it work here much longer...

For anyone who has been to Disneyland in California, I imagine Shadgard like Frontier Land, especially the areas around Splash Mountain and Thunder Railroad where it's all red rock.

Re: Putting together a crew

Okay, so after a lot of frustration with scheduling and learning that organizing players is like herding cats, and talking to the GMS, here is how this is going to go: The GMs and I are going to pick a time, without considering anyone else's schedules. Once that date is set, then a crew will be gath...

Re: Putting together a crew

I look forward to your letter, Mooshie! I've updated the roster page. Most notably, Gad has accepted the position of Quartermaster! I'm sure he's someone that everyone can trust and respect in that role. I'll be meeting with him individually to go over some things about that: he has a lot to pick up...

Re: Putting together a crew

So the latest news is that Vaylon has left the crew, and the game from what it sounds like. That means I'm in need of a Quartermaster again. I'm going to talk to people IC that I would trust to do that and I think it shouldn't take long to find a replacement. I have a few individuals in mind already...

Re: Putting together a crew

Yes, none of the positions are permanent and unchanging. If someone can't make a voyage, we'll find someone to take their place. Scheduling this many people is never going to be easy so the deal is that if you can't make it to something, you'll just have to hope you can make it next time. I'm usuall...

Re: Putting together a crew

Okay, elemancy is fixed and I'm finished lollygagging! It's been a while and some of the old crew have disappeared. If I've already talked with you in the past few days, then obviously you're already set. Vaylon's place is already secured because he went above and beyond in our preparations so far. ...

Re: Import shop

I know you want to get stuff in your import shop, and I want you to too, but you keep bringing up the dues. I pay monthly dues in my guild too, and we don't have any shop that gets special rare things stocked occasionally, at all. Your import shop hasn't been stocked in several months. Well we went ...
