  • Rook animates will no longer be able to acquire skill gains. -- Noctere 10:40, 18 November 2017 (PST)
  • Using the LOCK command while wearing an empty keyring will no longer produce red error text. -- Jirato 12:20, 15 November 2017 (EST)
  • The mercenary recruiter Warrington has returned from vacation and is again available in the Shadgard Barracks. He totally didn't die in a nethrim invasion and then we didn't have any saved copy of him to replicate. Nope, never happened. -- Jirato 14:35, 14 November 2017 (EST)
  • It is no longer possible to wear robes and greaves at the same time. -- Jirato 14:05, 14 November 2017 (EST)
  • There's been an expansion to the Shadgard stables. Templar who are interested in acquiring a destrier should head through the pine arch in the stables. (Thanks again, Noctere!) -- Jirato 13:46, 14 November 2017 (EST)
  • You may now ASK the "creepy old wagon loader" in the Artisan Compound courtyard directly outside the wagon yard to either LOAD or UNLOAD goods from your wagon to your rented workshop. (Credit goes to Noctere for this change.) -- Jirato 13:34, 14 November 2017 (EST)
  • The perception penalties from wearing eye and ear covering items have been lowered. Everyone will now have 5% higher perception from these items. Also if you have over 1000 armor skill, you will continue to gain more perception as your armor skill increases. Note: These changes will not update unless you remove and re-wear your current head worn item, if you are still wearing the item as a change occurs. -- Noctere 05:22, 13 November 2017 (PST)
  • A note stating "You will not be able to re-learn this ability until unlearning is complete." has been added to the ABILITY UNLEARN sub-command. -- Jirato 16:43, 11 November 2017 (EST)
  • Logging in a character with a previously used nickname will now automatically clear your client's "Guest ID", returning the number assigned to you before logging in to the list of available numbers to use, and allowing you to send tells without telling you that you need to set a nickname first. -- Jirato 16:07, 11 November 2017 (EST)
  • You may bypass the previously mentioned auto-assign last nickname feature by entering the word 'anonymous' after your password when logging in, for example: --login Jirato Password1234 anonymous -- Jirato 10:37, 10 November 2017 (EST)
  • You will now receive a message when you attempt to register a nickname over 16 characters rather than the command just failing. -- Jirato 10:31, 10 November 2017 (EST)
  • The game will now remember the last nickname you used on a character and will automatically assign it to you upon login if the following two conditions are met: You're currently using a guest nickname, and no one else is currently using the same nickname you used last. -- Jirato 10:31, 10 November 2017 (EST)
  • It is now impossible to register a nickname that starts with the word "Guest". -- Jirato 10:13, 10 November 2017 (EST)
  • New command: LOADOPTIONS - This command may be used to load the options from another character, useful if you make a second character and want to quickly load the options without setting them individually. Usage: LOADOPTIONS (character name) (password). Example: loadoptions Jirato Password1234 -- Jirato 10:00, 10 November 2017 (EST)
  • The COMMANDS command has been added and can be used to view and retrieve info on all of the commands that have been converted to the new modular and dynamic command system. Eventually, all commands will be migrated over here and HELP COMMANDS will become obsolete. -- Jirato 09:22, 9 November 2017 (EST)
  • The iron horse crinets in the Templar armor were improperly set to the necklace slot. They have been changed to the gorget slot which will now allow them to now work as armor, as was originally intended. -- Noctere 01:54, 8 November 2017 (PST)
  • Fixed a condition which would cause the AI loop to crash when certain critters attempted to use firearms. -- Jirato 19:26, 5 November 2017 (EST)
  • The Octum festival has packed up and closed for the year. Thank you everyone for your participation. -- Jirato 15:34, 5 November 2017 (EST)

  • Any command that requires you to not be in roundtime to use now resets the anti-idle counter for same commands. Note that using commands that interact with the game world (such as ALL commands that incur roundtime) as part of an unattended script is a violation of policy 5. -- Jirato 23:08, 31 October 2017 (EDT)
  • The number of times you can input the exact same command before getting kicked by the anti-idle system has been increased from 25 to 50. -- Jirato 22:58, 31 October 2017 (EDT)

  • POLICY 5 has been updated to reflect the new anti-idle measures. It will automatically be marked as unread on your next login if you have previously read it. -- Jirato 22:35, 26 October 2017 (EDT)
  • In an effort to keep people from starving to death or idling in a public place being mildly disruptive, you will now automatically be kicked from the game if you enter the exact same command 25 times in a row. Attempting to circumvent this measure to idle for longer periods of time will be considered a violation of policy 5. We will evaluate this system and change the number of same-command inputs if needed. -- Jirato 22:23, 26 October 2017 (EDT)
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing lanterns and sconces from igniting mine gas into a deadly explosion. -- Jirato 21:38, 25 October 2017 (EDT)
  • Fixed a bug where the GO command would not end after being told "Go again if you wish to pay this riln...") when attempting to use the private Mistral Lake ferry, resulting in having the riln deducted even though you haven't actually gone yet. -- Jirato 21:31, 25 October 2017 (EDT)

  • Minerals in player mine room are now exhaustible, with increased scarcity the deeper into the mine you dig. Though, trust me, it's still a LOT and will likely take months of multiple people mining non-stop to exhaust a single room. -- Jirato 01:08, 3 October 2017 (UTC)

  • It is no longer possible to DIG to reinforce mine rooms beyond 250.0 progress. -- Jirato 11:56, 27 September 2017 (UTC)

  • Additional dig progress bonuses will be granted at 1500, 2000, and 2500 mining skill (Maximum possible progress 1.0 for capped mining skill and all three mining abilities from Artisan guild). -- Jirato 12:53, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
